Sadaqat-ul-Fitr (or Zakat-ul-Fitr)

Paying Sadaqat-ul-Fitr (or Zakat-ul-Fitr)
{ obligatory charity should be given before
reading Eid's namaz }...
Sadaqat-ul-Fitr is obligatory and is to be paid by
every Muslim who falls under the Nisab level,
before leaving the house for Eid prayers.. The
main idea of paying zakat-ul-fitr is that on eid
day all the poor people throught d world should
hav food fully…n Prophet muhammad {sallalahu
alaihi wassallam} was very particular about this,
as is evident from the hadith (prophet's saying's)
given below:
Narrated Ibn Umar (Radhiallahu 'anhu): Allah's
Apostle (prophet muhammad sallalahu alaihi
wassallam) enjoined the payment of one Sa' of
dates or one Sa' of barley as Zakat-ul-Fitr on
every Muslim slave or free, male or female, young
or old, and he ordered that it should be paid
before the people went out to offer the 'EId
prayer. (One Sa' = 3 Kilograms approx.)- [Sahih
Bukhari: Volume 2, Book 25, Number 579].....
(The amount of fitr is decided according to d cost
of rice or wheat so please do check in respective
masjids for the fitr cost per each person..)..
