Prophet praying in a single garment

#Hadith_Time

Sahih Bukhari

1.349: Narrated Muhammad bin Al Munkadir: I saw Jabir bin `Abdullah praying in a single garment and he said that he had seen the Prophet praying in a single garment.

1.350: Narrated `Umar bin Abi Salama: The Prophet prayed in one garment and crossed its ends.

1.351: Narrated `Umar bin Abi Salama: I saw the Prophet offering prayers in a single garment in the house of Um−Salama and he had crossed its ends around his shoulders.

1.352: Narrated `Umar bin Abi Salama: In the house of Um−Salama I saw Allah's Apostle offering prayers, wrapped in a single garment around his body with its ends crossed round his shoulders.

1.353: Narrated Abu Murra: (the freed slave of Um Hani) Um Hani, the daughter of Abi Talib said, "I went to Allah's Apostle in the year of the conquest of Mecca and found him taking a bath and his daughter Fatima was screening him. I greeted him. He asked, 'Who is she?' I replied, 'I am Um Hani bint Abi Talib.' He said, 'Welcome! O Um Hani.' When he finished his bath he stood up and prayed eight rak`at while wearing a single garment wrapped round his body and when he finished I said, 'O Allah's Apostle ! My brother has told me that he will kill a person whom I gave shelter and that person is so and so the son of Hubaira.' The Prophet said, 'We shelter the person whom you have sheltered.' " Um Ham added, "And that was before noon (Duha).

1.354: Narrated Abu Huraira: A person asked Allah's Apostle about the offering of the prayer in a single garment. Allah's Apostle replied, "Has every one of you got two garments?"

1.355: Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "None of you should offer prayer in a single garment that does not cover the shoulders."

1.356: Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Whoever prays in a single garment must cross its ends (over the shoulders).

1.357: Narrated Sa`id bin Al−Harith: I asked Jabir bin `Abdullah about praying in a single garment. He said, "I traveled with the Prophet during some of his journeys, and I came to him at night for some purpose and I found him praying. At that time, I was wearing a single garment with which I covered my shoulders and prayed by his side. When he finished the prayer, he asked, 'O Jabir! What has brought you here?' I told him what I wanted. When I finished, he asked, 'O Jabir! What is this garment which I have seen and with which you covered your shoulders?' I replied, 'It is a (tight) garment.' He said, 'If the garment is large enough, wrap it round the body (covering the shoulders) and if it is tight (too short) then use it as an Izar (tie it around your waist only.)' "

Masjid Nimrah/Waadi Urana

The masjid above is Masjid Nimrah and is located on the plain of Arafat. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) was at Arafat on his farewell Hajj on the ninth day of Dhul Hijjah 10 AH (632 CE) he camped here. After midday he delivered his famous sermon (reproduced below) at Waadi Urana nearby while seated on his camel, after which he led the salah. More than 100,000 Sahabah accompanied him on this Hajj.
  • After praising, and thanking Allah the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said: “O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and take these words to those who could not be present today. O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your Lord, and that He will indeed reckon your deeds. Allah has forbidden you to take usury (interest), therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital, however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer any inequity. Allah has judged that there shall be no interest and that all the interest due to Abbas ibn ‘Abdul Muttalib (Prophet’s uncle) shall henceforth be waived…Beware of Shaitan, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under Allah’s trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste.O People, listen to me in earnest, worship Allah, say your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your wealth in Zakat. Perform Hajj if you can afford to. All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves.
Remember, one day you will appear before Allah and answer your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.
O People, no prophet or apostle will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the Quran and my example, the Sunnah and if you follow these you will never go astray.
All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness, O Allah, that I have conveyed your message to your people”.
  • Shortly after the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) had finished addressing the people, he received a revelation from Allah: “Today I have perfected your religion for you and completed My favour upon you, and I have chosen Islam as your religion.” [5:3]
  • In the second century of Islam, Masjid Nimrah was built at the spot where the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) delivered the sermon and led the salah. Because Waadi Urana, where the sermon was delivered is outside the boundaries of Arafat, that section of the masjid is naturally also outside the boundaries. When the masjid was extended afterwards, it then became divided into two sections; the front section which was the location of the original masjid being outside Arafat and the back section being within the boundaries. After renovations, signboards were erected inside the masjid to inform people about this matter so that after performing their Zuhr and Asr salahs in congregation, they could either move to the back of the masjid or outside to spend the rest of their time in Arafat. Should a person spend all his time from midday to sunset in the front section of the masjid, his stay at Arafat will be invalid and his Hajj will therefore be incomplete.

Mount Arafat

The above picture shows Jabal-ur-Rehmah (Mountain of Mercy) on the plain of Arafat. Standing at Arafat is the fundamental requirement of Hajj and pilgrims come here on the 9th Dhul Hijjah (second day of Hajj).
  • The common meaning of the word Arafat is ‘to know’. After being taken out of Jannah and placed on Earth, it was here that Adam (upon him be peace) and Hawa (upon him be peace) met up.
  • Standing on Arafat is an essential part of the Hajj; whoever misses the standing on Arafat has missed Hajj, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said: “Hajj is Arafat.” [al-Hakim]
  • The day of Arafah has many virtues, as was narrated in many Ahadith. Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her)  narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said: “There is no day in which Allah sets free more souls from the fire of hell than on the day of Arafat. And on that day Allah draws near to the earth and by way of exhibiting His Pride remarks to the angels, ‘What is the desire of these (servants of mine)?'” [Muslim]
  • In another Hadith the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said: “Apart from the day of the Battle of Badr there is no day on which the Shaitan is seen to be more humiliated, more rejected, more depressed and more infuriated, than on the day of Arafat, and indeed all this is only because of beholding the abundance of descending mercy (on the day) and Allah’s forgiveness of the great sins of the servants.“ [Mishkat]
  • A man from among the Jews came to Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: “O Amirul-Muminin, there is a verse in your Book which, if it had been revealed to us Jews, we would have taken that day as a festival.” Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked, “Which verse?” to which the Jew replied,“This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.” [5:3]. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “We know the day and the place in which that was revealed to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him); it was when he was standing on Arafat, on a Friday.”
  • There once existed a masjid on the right slope of Jabal-ur-Rehmah called Masid Sakhrah. It signified the spot where the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him), after leading the Zuhr and Asr salahs faced towards the Qibla and engaged in dua till sunset. It was at this spot where the above verse of the Quran was revealed. Note that it is stated in a Hadith that no further verses were revealed after this one with regards to halal and haram.
  • One of the virtues of the day of Arafat is that fasting this day expiates for the sins of the past and coming year. It was reported from Abu Qatadah that a man said: “O Messenger of Allah, what do you think of fasting on the day of Arafat?” He said: “It expiates for the sins of the previous year and of the coming year” [Muslim]
  • This (fasting) is mustahab (desirable) for those who are not on Hajj. In the case of the one who is on Hajj, it is not Sunnah for him to fast on the Day of Arafat, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) did not fast on this day when he was in Arafat.

Five prayers

#Hadith_Time

Sahih Bukhari 1.345

Narrated Abu Dhar: Allah's Apostle said, "While I was at Mecca the roof of my house was opened and Gabriel descended, opened my chest, and washed it with Zamzam water. Then he brought a golden tray full of wisdom and faith and having poured its contents into my chest, he closed it. Then he took my hand and ascended with me to the nearest heaven, when I reached the nearest heaven, Gabriel said to the gatekeeper of the heaven, 'Open (the gate).' The gatekeeper asked, 'Who is it?' Gabriel answered: 'Gabriel.' He asked, 'Is there anyone with you?'
Gabriel replied, 'Yes, Muhammad I is with me.' He asked, 'Has he been called?' Gabriel said, 'Yes.' So the gate was opened and we went over the nearest heaven and there we saw a man sitting with some people on his right and some on his left. When he looked towards his right, he laughed and when he looked toward his left he wept. Then he said, 'Welcome! O pious Prophet and pious son.' I asked Gabriel, 'Who is he?' He replied, 'He is Adam and the people on his right and left are the souls of his offspring. Those on his right are the people of Paradise and those on his left are the people of Hell and when he looks towards his right he laughs and when he looks towards his left he weeps.' Then he ascended with me till he reached the second heaven and he (Gabriel) said to its gatekeeper, 'Open (the gate).' The gatekeeper said to him the same as the gatekeeper of the first heaven had said and he opened the gate. Anas said: "Abu Dhar added that the Prophet met Adam, Idris, Moses, Jesus and Abraham, he (Abu Dhar) did not mention on which heaven they were but he mentioned that he (the Prophet ) met Adam on the nearest heaven and Abraham on the sixth heaven. Anas said, "When Gabriel along with the Prophet passed by Idris, the latter said, 'Welcome! O pious Prophet and pious brother.' The Prophet asked, 'Who is he?' Gabriel replied, 'He is Idris." The Prophet added, "I passed by Moses and he said, 'Welcome! O pious Prophet and pious brother.' I asked Gabriel, 'Who is he?' Gabriel replied, 'He is Moses.' Then I passed by Jesus and he said, 'Welcome! O pious brother and pious Prophet.' I asked, 'Who is he?' Gabriel replied, 'He is Jesus. Then I passed by Abraham and he said, 'Welcome! O pious Prophet and pious son.' I asked Gabriel, 'Who is he?' Gabriel replied, 'He is Abraham. The Prophet added, 'Then Gabriel ascended with me to a place where I heard the creaking of the pens." Ibn Hazm and Anas bin Malik said: The Prophet said, "Then Allah enjoined fifty prayers on my followers when I returned with this order of Allah, I passed by Moses who asked me, 'What has Allah enjoined on your followers?' I replied, 'He has enjoined fifty prayers on them.' Moses said, 'Go back to your Lord (and appeal for reduction) for your followers will not be able to bear it.'
(So I went back to Allah and requested for reduction) and He reduced it to half. When I passed by Moses again and informed him about it, he said, 'Go back to your Lord as your followers will not be able to bear it.' So I returned to Allah and requested for further reduction and half of it was reduced. I again passed by Moses and he said to me: 'Return to your Lord, for your followers will not be able to bear it. So I returned to Allah and He said, 'These are five prayers and they are all (equal to) fifty (in reward) for My Word does not change.' I returned to Moses and he told me to go back once again. I replied, 'Now I feel shy of asking my Lord again.' Then Gabriel took me till we '' reached Sidrat−il−Muntaha (Lote tree of; the utmost boundary) which was shrouded in colors, indescribable. Then I was admitted into Paradise where I found small (tents or) walls (made) of pearls and its earth was of musk."

Had anyone of us two garments in the lifetime of the Prophet?

#Hadith_Time

Sahih Bukhari 1.348

Narrated Muhammad bin Al−Munkadir: Once Jabir prayed with his Izar tied to his back while his clothes were Lying beside him on a wooden peg. Somebody asked him, "Do you offer your prayer in a single Izar?" He replied, "I did so to show it to a fool like you. Had anyone of us two garments in the lifetime of the Prophet?"

Christians and Muslims are more alike than different. Please read that which I have discovered. ~~ Robin

1. Jesus taught that there is only One God and Only God should be worshipped as taught in Deut 6:4, Mark 12:29. Muslims also believe this as taught in the Qur’an verse 4:171.

2. Jesus  didn’t eat pork as taught in Leviticus 11:7 , and neither do Muslims as taught in the Qur’an verse 6:145.

3. Jesus greeted with the words “as salaamu alaikum” (Peace be with you) in John 20:21. Muslims also greet each other this way.

4. Jesus always said “God Willing” (inshallah), Muslims say this too before doing anything as taught in the Qur’an verses 18:23-24.

5. Jesus washed his face, hands, and feet before praying. The Muslims do the same.

6. Jesus and other prophets of the Bible prayed with their head to the ground (see Matthew26:39). Muslims do too as taught in the Qur’an verse 3:43.

7. Jesus  had a beard and wore a throbe. It is Sunnah for Muslim men to do the same.

8. Jesus followed the law and believed in all the prophets, (see Matthew 5:17). Muslims do too as taught in the Qur’an verses 3:84, and 2:285.

9. Jesus’ mother Maryam dressed modestly by fully covering her body and wearing a headscarf (hijab) as found in 1 Timothy 2:9, Genesis 24:64-65, and Corinthians 11:6. Muslim women modestly dress the same as taught in the Qur’an verse 33:59.

10. Jesus and other prophets of the Bible fasted up to 40 days (see Exodus 34:28, Daniel 10:2-6. 1Kings 19:8, and Matthew 4:1-Muslims do so also during the month of Ramadan. Muslims are required to fast the full obligatory 30 days (see Qur’an 2:183), and others take it a step further by fasting an additional 6 days to increase their rewards.

11. Jesus taught to say “Peace to this house” when entering it (see Luke 10:5), and to also greet the people in the house with “peace be unto you”. Muslims do exactly what Jesus did and taught. When we enter our homes and the homes of others we say “Bismillah” and also greet with “as salaamu alaikum” (peace be upon you) as taught in the Qur’an verse 24:61.

12. Jesus was circumcised. Circumcision is 1 of the 5 fitrah in Islam, so Muslim men are required to be circumcised. According to the Bible in Luke 2:21, Jesus was eight days old when he was circumcised. In the Torah, Allah/God stated to the Prophet Abraham that it is an “Everlasting covenant” (see Genesis 17:13). In the Qur’an verse 16:123 Muslims are required to follow the religion of Abraham. The Prophet Muhammad  said, “The Prophet Abraham circumcised himself when he was eighty years old.”

13. Jesus spoke aramaic and called God”Elah”, which is pronounced the same as “Allah”. Aramaic is an ancient, Biblical language. It is one of the Semitic languages that also include Hebrew, Arabic, Ethiopic and the ancient Assyrian and Babylonian language of Akkadian.
The Aramaic”Elah” and the Arabic “Allah” are the same.

The Aramaic “Elah” is derived from the Arabic “Allah”, and it means “GOD”. “Allah” in Arabic also means”GOD”, the Supreme GOD Almighty. You can easily see the similarity in their pronunciation so this concludes that the God of Jesus is also the God of the Muslims, of all mankind, and all that exist. (ze shared)

"When the people hear about it, they will solely depend on it."

#Hadith_Time

Sahih Bukhari 1.130

Narrated Anas bin Malik: "Once Mu`adh was along with Allah's Apostle as a companion rider. Allah's Apostle said, "O Mu`adh bin Jabal." Mu`adh replied, "Labbaik and Sa`daik. O Allah's Apostle!" Again the Prophet said, "O Mu`adh!" Mu`adh said thrice, "Labbaik and Sa`daik, O Allah's Apostle!" Allah's Apostle said, "There is none who testifies sincerely that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is his Apostle, except that Allah, will save him from the Hell−fire." Mu`adh said, "O Allah's Apostle ! Should I not inform the people about it so that they may have glad tidings?" He replied, "When the people hear about it, they will solely depend on it." Then Mu`adh narrated the above−mentioned Hadith just before his death, being afraid of committing sin (by not telling the knowledge).

Secret about Kaba

#Hadith_Time

Sahih Bukhari 1.128

Narrated Aswad: Ibn Az−Zubair said to me, "Aisha used to tell you secretly a number of things. What did she tell you about the Ka`ba?" I replied, "She told me that once the Prophet said, 'O `Aisha! Had not your people been still close to the pre−Islamic period of ignorance (infidelity)! I would have dismantled the Ka`ba and would have made two doors in it; one for entrance and the other for exit." Later on Ibn Az−Zubair did the same.

Reviews of Quran by Non Muslim high profile persons

1) Dr. T. V. N. Persaud is Professor of Anatomy, Professor of Pediatrics and Child Health, and Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. There, he was the Chairman of the Department of Anatomy for 16 years. He is well known in his field. He is the author or editor of 22 textbooks and has published over 181 scientific papers. In 1991, he received the most distinguished award presented in the field of anatomy in Canada, the J.C.B. Grant Award from the Canadian Association of Anatomists. When he was asked about the scientific miracles in the Quran which he has researched, he stated the following:

“The way it was explained to me is that Muhammad was a very ordinary man.  He could not read, didn’t know how to write. In fact, he was an illiterate. And we’re talking about twelve, actually about fourteen hundred years ago. You have someone illiterate making profound pronouncements and statements and that are amazingly accurate about scientific nature. And I personally can’t see how this could be a mere chance. There are too many accuracies and, like Dr. Moore, I have no difficulty in my mind that this is a divine inspiration or revelation which led him to these statements”.

Professor Persaud has included some Quranic verses and sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in some of his books. He has also presented these verses and sayings of the Prophet Muhammad at several conferences.

2) Dr. Joe Leigh Simpson is the Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Professor of Molecular and Human Genetics at the Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, USA. Formerly, he was Professor of Ob-Gyn and the Chairman of the Department of Ob-Gyn at the University of Tennessee, Memphis, Tennessee, USA. He was also the President of the American Fertility Society. He has received many awards, including the Association of Professors of Obstetrics and Gynecology Public Recognition Award in 1992. Professor Simpson studied the following two sayings of the Prophet Muhammad:

“In every one of you, all components of your creation are collected together in your mother’s womb by forty days”.

“If forty two nights have passed over the embryo, God sends an angel to it, who shapes it and creates its hearing, vision, skin, flesh, and bones”.

He studied these two sayings of the Prophet Muhammad extensively, noting that the first forty days constitute a clearly distinguishable stage of embryo-genesis. He was particularly impressed by the absolute precision and accuracy of those sayings of the Prophet Muhammad.  Then, during one conference, he gave the following opinion:

“So that the two hadiths (the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad) that have been noted provide us with a specific time table for the main embryological development before forty days. Again, the point has been made, I think, repeatedly by other speakers this morning: these hadiths could not have been obtained on the basis of the scientific knowledge that was available at the time of their writing. It follows, I think, that not only there is no conflict between genetics and religion but, in fact, religion can guide science by adding revelation to some of the traditional scientific approaches, that there exist statements in the Quran shown centuries later to be valid, which support knowledge in the Quran having been derived from God”.

3) Dr. E. Marshall Johnson is Professor Emeritus of Anatomy and Developmental Biology at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. There, for 22 years he was Professor of Anatomy, the Chairman of the Department of Anatomy, and the Director of the Daniel Baugh Institute. He was also the President of the Teratology Society. He has authored more than 200 publications. In 1981, during the Seventh Medical Conference in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, Professor Johnson said in the presentation of his research paper:

“Summary: The Quran describes not only the development of external form, but emphasizes also the internal stages, the stages inside the embryo, of its creation and development, emphasizing major events recognized by contemporary science”.

He also said: “As a scientist, I can only deal with things which I can specifically see. I can understand embryology and developmental biology. I can understand the words that are translated to me from the Quran. As I gave the example before, if I were to transpose myself into that era, knowing what I knew today and describing things, I could not describe the things which were described. I see no evidence for the fact to refute the concept that this individual, Muhammad, had to be developing this information from some place. So I see nothing here in conflict with the concept that divine intervention was involved in what he was able to write”.

4) Dr. William W. Hay is a well known marine scientist. He is Professor of Geological Sciences at the University of Colorado, Boulder, Colorado, USA. He was formerly the Dean of the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science at the University of Miami, Miami, Florida, USA.  After a discussion with Professor Hay about the Quran’s mention of recently discovered facts on seas, he said:

“I find it very interesting that this sort of information is in the ancient scriptures of the Holy Quran, and I have no way of knowing where they would come from, but I think it is extremely interesting that they are there and that this work is going on to discover it, the meaning of some of the passages”. And when he was asked about the source of the Quran, he replied: “Well, I would think it must be the divine being”.

5) Dr. Gerald C. Goeringer is Course Director and Associate Professor of Medical Embryology at the Department of Cell Biology, School of Medicine, Georgetown University, Washington, DC, USA.  During the Eighth Saudi Medical Conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Professor Goeringer stated the following in the presentation of his research paper:

“In a relatively few aayahs (Quranic verses) is contained a rather comprehensive description of human development from the time of commingling of the gametes through organogenesis. No such distinct and complete record of human development, such as classification, terminology, and description, existed previously. In most, if not all, instances, this description antedates by many centuries the recording of the various stages of human embryonic and fetal development recorded in the traditional scientific literature”.

6) Dr. Yoshihide Kozai is Professor Emeritus at Tokyo University, Hongo, Tokyo, Japan, and was the Director of the National Astronomical Observatory, Mitaka, Tokyo, Japan. He said:

“I am very much impressed by finding true astronomical facts in the Quran, and for us the modern astronomers have been studying very small pieces of the universe. We’ve concentrated our efforts for understanding of a very small part. Because by using telescopes, we can see only very few parts of the sky without thinking about the whole universe. So, by reading the Quran and by answering to the questions, I think I can find my future way for investigation of the universe”.

7) Professor Tejatat Tejasen is the Chairman of the Department of Anatomy at Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai, Thailand.  Previously, he was the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the same university. During the Eighth Saudi Medical Conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Professor Tejasen stood up and said:

“During the last three years, I became interested in the Quran. From my study and what I have learned from this conference, I believe that everything that has been recorded in the Quran fourteen hundred years ago must be the truth, that can be proved by the scientific means. Since the Prophet Muhammad could neither read nor write, Muhammad must be a messenger who relayed this truth, which was revealed to him as an enlightenment by the one who is eligible as the creator. This creator must be God. Therefore, I think this is the time to say 'La ilaha illa Allah', there is no god to worship except ALLAH (God), Muhammadur rasoolu Allah, Muhammad is Messenger (Prophet) of ALLAH (God). Lastly, I must congratulate for the excellent and highly successful arrangement for this conference. I have gained not only from the scientific point of view and religious point of view but also the great chance of meeting many well known scientists and making many new friends among the participants. The most precious thing of all that I have gained by coming to this place is 'La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammadur rasoolu Allah', and to have become a Muslim”.

After all these examples we have seen about the scientific miracles in the Holy Quran and all these scientists’ comments on this, let us ask ourselves these questions:

Could it be a coincidence that all this recently discovered scientific information from different fields was mentioned in the Quran, which was revealed fourteen centuries ago ?.

Could this Quran have been authored by Muhammad (PBUH), or by any other human being ?.

The only possible answer is that this Quran is literally the word of ALLAH.

Fight

#Hadith_Time

Sahih Bukhari 1.125

Narrated Abu Musa: A man came to the Prophet and asked, "O Allah's Apostle! What kind of fighting is in Allah's cause? (I ask this), for some of us fight because of being enraged and angry and some for the sake of his pride and haughtiness." The Prophet raised his head (as the questioner was standing) and said, "He who fights so that Allah's Word (Islam) should be superior, then he fights in Allah's cause."

Another Moses

#Hadith_Time

Sahih Bukhari 1.123

Narrated Sa`id bin Jubair: I said to Ibn `Abbas, "Nauf−Al−Bakali claims that Moses (the companion of Khadir) was not the Moses of Bani Israel but he was another Moses." Ibn `Abbas remarked that the enemy of Allah (Nauf) was a liar.

killing each other

#Hadith_Time

Sahih Bukhari 1.122

Narrated Jarir: The Prophet said to me during Hajjat−al−Wida`: Let the people keep quiet and listen. Then he said (addressing the people), "Do not (become infidels) revert to disbelief after me by striking the necks (cutting the throats) of one another (killing each other).

Who is Happy ???

A Crow lived in the Forest and was absolutely satisfied in life.
But one day he saw a Swan...
This Swan is so white and I am so black..Crow thought.
This Swan must be the happiest bird in the world.
He expressed his thoughts to the Swan.
"Actually," the Swan replied,
"I was feeling that I was the happiest bird around until I saw a Parrot, which has two colors.
I now think the Parrot is the happiest bird in creation."
The Crow then approached the Parrot
The Parrot explained,
"I lived a very happy life—until I saw a Peacock. I have only two colors, but the Peacock has multiple colors."
The Crow then visited a Peacock in the zoo and saw that hundreds of people had gathered to see him.
After the people had left,
The Crow approached the Peacock..
Dear Peacock,
You are so beautiful.
Every day thousands of people come to see you.
When people see me,
they immediately shove me away. I think you are the happiest bird on the planet.
The Peacock replied,
I always thought that I was the most beautiful and happy bird on the planet.
But because of my beauty,
I am entrapped in this zoo.
I have examined the zoo very carefully, and I have realized that the Crow is the only bird not kept in a cage.
So for the past few days I have been thinking that if I were a Crow, I could happily roam everywhere.

That's our problem too.
We make unnecessary comparison with others and become sad. We don't value what God has given us. This all leads to the vicious cycle of unhappiness.

Let's value the things God has given us.
Learn the secret of being happy and discard the comparison which leads only to unhappiness..
Say "I thank you God for everything."

Beauty is not a guarantee to marriage . ... Falling sick does not mean you are about to die. ... Getting rich is not the definition of prosperity. ... Building a nice house is not enjoying luxury. ... Sleeping on an expensive bed does not
bring you sound sleep. ... Driving a new car is not a
guarantee that you're going to arrive at your destination... Wearing the best clothes does not mean they look good on you. ...
Having a family doctor does not guarantee permanent
health. ... Being highly educated is not a sign of wisdom... Marrying a rich guy does not guarantee a happy marriage... Winning an argument does not mean that you are correct. ...

Whatever is done without the merit of Heaven is
fake or temporal. ... He who builds without God, is building for nothing; and he who watches over a city without God, watches in vain. ...

Not everything is possible with men. Yet everything is possible with God.

Stay blessed and good morning

HISTORY OF PIG FAT by Dr. M. Amjad Khan

In nearly all the western countries including Europe, the PRIMARY choice for meat is PIG. There are a lot of farms in these countries to breed this animal. In France alone, Pig Farms account for more than 42,000.

PIGS have the highest quantity of FAT in their body than any other animal. But Europeans and Americans try to avoid fats.

Thus, where does the FAT from these PIGS go? All pigs are cut in slaughter houses under the control of the department of food and it was the headache of the department of food to dispose of the fat removed from these pigs.

Formally, it was burnt (about 60 years ago). Then they thought of utilizing it. First, they experimented it in the making of SOAPS and it worked.

Then, a full network was formed and this FAT was chemically processed, packed and marketed, while the other manufacturing companies bought it. In the meantime, all European States made it a rule that every food, medical and personal hygiene product should have the ingredients listed on its cover. So, this ingredient was listed as PIG FAT.

Those who are living in Europe for the past 40 years know about this. But, these products came under a ban by the ISLAMIC COUNTRIES at that time, which resulted in a trade deficit.

Going back in time, if you are somehow related to South East Asia, you might know about the provoking factors of the 1857 CIVIL WAR. At that time, Riffle Bullets were made in Europe and transported to the sub-continent through the sea. It took months to reach there and the gun powder in it was ruined due to the exposure to sea.

Then, they got the idea of coating the bullets with fat, which was PIG FAT. The fat layer had to be scratched by teeth before using them. When the word spread, the soldiers, mostly Muslim and some Vegetarians, refused to fight, which eventually lead to the civil war. The Europeans recognized these facts, and instead of writing PIG FAT, they started writing ANIMAL FAT.

All those living in Europe since 1970's know this fact. When the companies were asked by authorities from the MUSLIM COUNTRIES, what animal fat is it, they were told it was COW and SHEEP FAT. Here again a question raised, if it was COW or SHEEP FAT, still it is HARAAM to MUSLIMS, as these animals were not SLAUGHTERED as per the ISLAMIC LAW.

Thus, they were again banned. Now these multinational companies were again facing a severe drought of money as 75% of their income comes from selling their goods to Muslim Countries, and these earn BILLIONS OF DOLLARS of profit from their exports to the MUSLIM WORLD.

Finally they decided to start a coding language, so that only their Departments of Food Administration should know what they are using, and the common man is left lurking in the dark. Thus, they started E-CODES. These E-INGREDIENTS are present in a majority of products of multinational firms including, but not limited to:

TOOTH PASTE
SHAVING CREAM
CHEWING GUM
CHOCOLATE
SWEETS
BISCUITS
CORN FLASKS
TOFFEES
CANNED FOODS
CANNED FRUITS

Some medication Multi-vitamins since these goods are being used in all MUSLIM COUNTRIES indiscriminately, our society is facing problems like shamelessness, rudeness and sexual promiscuity.

So, request all MUSLIMS or non pork eaters to check the ingredients of the ITEMS of daily use and match it with the following list of E-CODES. If any of the ingredients listed below is found, then DEFINITELY AVOID IT, as it has PIG FAT;

E100, E110, E120, E140, E141, E153, E210, E213, E214, E216, E234, E252, E270, E280, E325, E326, E 327, E334, E335, E336, E337,  E422, E430, E431, E432, E433, E434, E435, E436, E440, E470, E471, E472, E473, E474, E475, E476, E477, E478, E481, E482, E483, E491, E492, E493, E494, E495, E542, E570, E572, E621, E631, E635, E904.

THE POWER OF TAWAKKUL

Recently, a Muslim man was caught in a dilemma, where he faced two choices, both difficult. This man was the manager of one of the largest hotels in Egypt. He was very good at his job. Because of this he was highly valued by his superiors.

However, there was one element of the job that galled him. A duty that he felt ashamed over. In any large hotel in Egypt, serving alcoholic drinks is a must, and that duty was killing him inside. He knew that serving alcohol is haram. It is forbidden by Allah, and whatever money comes from it is not blessed but haram; but it was part of the job and had to be taken care of, regardless of how he felt towards it.

Finally he decided to go to one of the well- known Egyptian sheikhs and ask his advice. After arranging for an appointment to meet this sheikh, he met him and explained the problem. The sheikh without hesitation said, “You must leave this job.”

He explained to the sheikh, “This is the only job I know. I’ve been working in this field all my life. I don’t know what else to do. I have a wife and children to take care of. I can’t just leave the job and be unemployed and penniless like so many others in Egypt.”

The sheikh replied, “Did you come to me thinking that I might give you permission to do what Allah forbids? Leave this job for the sake of Allah.”

The sheikh reminded the manager of a verse from the Quran:

“And whoever is conscious of Allah, He will make for him a way out, And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah – then He is sufficient for him.”

The man returned to the hotel, knowing that he had to make the most difficult decision of his life. He trembled when he thought of the risk he was taking, and the fear of what the future might hold for him and his family.

Finally, With a strong faith and an absolute trust in Allah, he made a plea to the heavens: “O Allah, I trust You, and I’m doing this only for You. I know you will make for me away out, so please help me.”

He headed directly to his office, sat at his desk, and began writing his resignation.

As he was writing, the phone in front of him rang. It was his superior at the corporation office, calling with news. The manager was stunned and could hardly believe the news he heard, but it was true. The man was informed that he had been promoted to go and manage a new hotel located in Al-Madinah, the holy city of our Prophet (peace be upon him), and right next to the Masjid of the Prophet. Of course, being in Saudi Arabia, this new hotel sold no alcohol! Subhanallah.

His dua had been answered in a heartbeat, from one moment to the next, before he even finished the letter of resignation.

Till this day, the man is still the manager of the hotel in Madinah.

Please forward this to encourage others to put their trust in Allah. He will settle our affairs for us in the best way.

Allahummaj ‘alni miman tawwakala ‘alaika,  fakafait-tahu wastahdaka fahadaittahu wastansaraka fanasaratahu

(O Allah! Let us be among those who had  complete trust in Thee; so You sufficed them; and they sought guidance from  Thee; so You directed them to the right Path; and they asked help of Thee; so  You assisted them.)

Take time out of your busy schedule and read this post. A wonderful story SUBHANNALLAH

Who is poor? Who is rich?

Who is poor?

A wealthy woman goes to a saree store and tells the boy at the counter "Bhaiya show some cheap sarees. It is my son's marriage and I have to give to my maid."

After sometime, the maid comes to the saree shop and tells the boy at the counter "Bhaiya show some expensive sarees. I want to gift my Mistress on her son's marriage"

Poverty is in the mind or in the purse?

Who is Rich?

Once, a lady with her family was staying in a 3-star hotel for a picnic. She was the mother of a 6 month old baby.
"Can I get 1 cup of milk?" asked the lady to the 3-star hotel manager.
"Yes madam", he replied.
"But it will cost 100 bucks". "No problem", said the lady.
While driving back from hotel, the child was hungry again.
They stopped at a road side tea stall and took milk from the tea vendor
"How much?” she asked the tea vendor.
"Madam, we don't charge money for kid's milk", the old man said with a smile.
"Let me know if you need more for the journey". The lady took one more cup and left.
She wondered, "Who’s richer? The hotel manager or the old tea vendor?

Sometimes, in the race for more money, we forget that we are all humans. Let's help someone in need, without expecting something in return. It will make us feel better than what money can.
Coffee never knew that it would taste so nice and sweet, before it met milk and sugar.
We are good as individuals but become better when we meet and blend with the right people....

Stay connected.

"The world is full of nice people... If you can't find one... Be one.

#Hadith_Time

Sahih Bukhari 1.115

Narrated Um Salama: One night Allah's Apostle got up and said, "Subhan Allah! How many afflictions have been descended tonight and how many treasures have been disclosed! Go and wake the sleeping lady occupants of these dwellings (his wives) up (for prayers). A well−dressed (soul) in this world may be naked in the Hereafter. "

#Hadith_Time

Do you know background of ATTAHIYYAAT, as to why we recite it in every prayer?

Attahiyyaat is a very important 'Du'a' we repeat it in our daily prayers. When I learnt the importance of this, it melted my heart.
Attahiyat is actually a part of conversation between Our Creator Allaah and our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ during his journey of Al Isra Wal Miraaj.

When Prophet Muhammad ﷺ met Allaah, he didn't say 'Assalamu 'Alaykum'. What is someone going to say when he meets Allaah? We can't wish Him peace because all sources of peace are through Him only.

So Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: "Attahiyyaatu Lillahi Was Salawatu Wattayyibatu" (All compliments, all prayer and worship are for Allaah)
Allaah replied: "Assalamu 'Alayka Ayyuhannabiyyu 'Warahmatullahi Wabarkatuhu" (Peace be upon you, Oh Prophet and Allaah's Mercy and Blessings).
To this, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ replied: "Assalamu 'Alayna Wa'ala 'Ibadillihis Sa'liheen" (Peace be on us and on all good slaves of Allaah)

#Note Prophet Muhammad ﷺ included "us" in his reply... (and on all good slaves of Allaah)
And listening to this conversation between Allaah and His Messenger Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam , the Angels said:
"Ash-had'u'un La ilaha illallahu Wa Ash-hadu Anna Muhammadun Abduhu Wa Rasuluh" (I bear witness that no one is worthy of worship except Allaah And I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger).

Subhan Allaah! I now understood the importance of this conversation in our daily prayers and how the Salat was prescribed to us.

#SHARE .. Imagine if other people will know and you will get rewarded.

Taqwa

Taqwa is not only in our manners..Taqwa is not about looking islamic...Taqwa is not about sporting a beard or wearing a Hijab...Taqwa is  not appearance
BUT
Taqwa is when you miss a single prayer, you feel uneasy the whole day...
Taqwa is when you speak a lie , your instinct feels bad..
Taqwa is the guilt that follows when u hurt someone knowingly or unknowingly, Taqwa is the shame and regret that follows a sin you did knowing fully well about it's stand in the sight of Allah,
Taqwa is when you cannot sleep the whole night after disobeying or disrespecting your parents
Taqwa is to cry in the depths of night fearing none but the one above the Arsh. Taqwa is the fear that refrains us from sinning even when we are alone and nobody is looking...
Taqwa is the guts and the will to please Allah, even when the whole world is hell bent on displeasing Him...
Taqwa is to wear that beard and Hijab for the sole reason of pleasing Our Rabb and to keep it as per sunnah....
...
Taqwa is the good manners and character that loving and fearing Allah brings in us...
Taqwa is the struggle to better yourself according to Islam with each passing day...
Taqwa is not only about rising in deen, it is more about falling but again rising up and never letting go...
Taqwa IS ALL ABOUT WHAT LIES IN THE HEART
And if this heart is filled with proper Taqwa, then actions automatically follow...And the sweetness of these actions are so much better..Alhamdulillaah!!!

‏‏‏‏‏‏‏‏
My advice is ensure you read the Quran everyday even if it's a verse may Allah reward us abundantly Ameen.

Allah sees you sharing it. ‏‏

Oh Allah whoever sends out bestow on him your bounties from where he doesn't expect and doesn't know. Ameen!

Fighting in Mecca

#Hadith_Time

Sahih Bukhari 1.112

Narrated Abu Huraira: In the year of the Conquest of Mecca, the tribe of Khuza`a killed a man from the tribe of Bani Laith in revenge for a killed person, belonging to them. They informed the Prophet about it. So he rode his Rahila (she−camel for riding) and addressed the people saying, "Allah held back the killing from Mecca. (The sub−narrator is in doubt whether the Prophet said "elephant or killing," as the Arabic words standing for these words have great similarity in shape), but He (Allah) let His Apostle and the believers over power the infidels of Mecca. Beware! (Mecca is a sanctuary) Verily! Fighting in Mecca was not permitted for anyone before me nor will it be permitted for anyone after me. It (war) in it was made legal for me for few hours or so on that day. No doubt it is at this moment a sanctuary, it is not allowed to uproot its thorny shrubs or to uproot its trees or to pick up its Luqat (fallen things) except by a person who will look for its owner (announce it publicly). And if somebody is killed, then his closest relative has the right to choose one of the two−− the blood money (Diyya) or retaliation having the killer killed. In the meantime a man from Yemen came and said, "O Allah's Apostle! Get that written for me." The Prophet ordered his companions to write that for him. Then a man from Quraish said, "Except Al−Idhkhir (a type of grass that has good smell) O Allah's Apostle, as we use it in our houses and graves." The Prophet said, "Except Al−Idhkhir i.e. Al−Idhkhir is allowed to be plucked."

Ask again till she understood it completely

#Hadith_Time

Sahih Bukhari 1.103

Narrated Ibn Abu Mulaika: Whenever `Aisha (the wife of the Prophet) heard anything which she did not understand, she used to ask again till she understood it completely. Aisha said: "Once the Prophet said, "Whoever will be called to account (about his deeds on the Day of Resurrection) will surely be punished." I said, "Doesn't Allah say: "He surely will receive an easy reckoning." (84.8) The Prophet replied, "This means only the presentation of the accounts but whoever will be argued about his account, will certainly be ruined."

Shield her from the Hell−fire

#Hadith_Time

Sahih Bukhari 1.101

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al−Khudri: Some women requested the Prophet to fix a day for them as the men were taking all his time. On that he promised them one day for religious lessons and commandments. Once during such a lesson the Prophet said, "A woman whose three children die will be shielded by them from the Hell fire." On that a woman asked, "If only two die?" He replied, "Even two (will shield her from the Hell−fire).

Luckiest person

#Hadith_Time

Sahih Bukhari 1.98

Narrated Abu Huraira: I said: "O Allah's Apostle! Who will be the luckiest person, who will gain your intercession on the Day of Resurrection?" Allah's Apostle said: O Abu Huraira! "I have thought that none will ask me about it before you as I know your longing for the (learning of) Hadiths. The luckiest person who will have my intercession on the Day of Resurrection will be the one who said sincerely from the bottom of his heart "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah." And `Umar bin `Abdul `Aziz wrote to Abu Bakr bin Hazm, "Look for the knowledge of Hadith and get it written, as I am afraid that religious knowledge will vanish and the religious learned men will pass away (die). Do not accept anything save the Hadiths of the Prophet. Circulate knowledge and teach the ignorant, for knowledge does not vanish except when it is kept secretly (to oneself).

Three persons will have a double reward

#Hadith_Time

A slave who discharges his duties to Allah and his master. −3. A master of a woman−slave who teaches her good manners and educates her in the best possible way (the religion) and manumits her and then marries her."

Silver ring

#Hadith_Time

Sahih Bukhari 1.65: Narrated Anas bin Malik: Once the Prophet wrote a letter or had an idea of writing a letter. The Prophet was told that they (rulers) would not read letters unless they were sealed. So the Prophet got a silver ring made with "Muhammad Allah's Apostle" engraved on it. As if I were just observing its white glitter in the hand of the Prophet.

Dimam bin Tha`laba

Sahih Bukhari 1.63

Narrated Anas bin Malik: While we were sitting with the Prophet in the mosque, a man came riding on a camel. He made his camel kneel down in the mosque, tied its foreleg and then said: "Who amongst you is Muhammad?" At that time the Prophet was sitting amongst us (his companions) leaning on his arm. We replied, "This white man reclining on his arm." The an then addressed him, "O Son of `Abdul Muttalib." The Prophet said, "I am here to answer your questions." The man said to the Prophet, "I want to ask you something and will be hard in questioning. So do not get angry." The Prophet said, "Ask whatever you want." The man said, "I ask you by your Lord, and the Lord of those who were before you, has Allah sent you as an Apostle to all the mankind?" The Prophet replied, "By Allah, yes." The man further said, "I ask you by Allah. Has Allah ordered you to offer five prayers in a day and night (24 hours).? He replied, "By Allah, Yes." The man further said, "I ask you by Allah! Has Allah ordered you to observe fasts during this month of the year (i.e. Ramadan)?" He replied, "By Allah, Yes." The man further said, "I ask you by Allah. Has Allah ordered you to take Zakat (obligatory charity) from our rich people and distribute it amongst our poor people?" The Prophet replied, "By Allah, yes." Thereupon that man said, "I have believed in all that with which you have been sent, and I have been sent by my people as a messenger, and I am Dimam bin Tha`laba from the brothers of Bani Sa`d bin Bakr."

Save your heels from the fire

#Hadith_Time

Sahih Bukhari 1.57: Narrated `Abdullah bin `Amr: Once the Prophet remained behind us in a journey. He joined us while we were performing ablution for the prayer which was over−due. We were just passing wet hands over our feet (and not washing them properly) so the Prophet addressed us in a loud voice and said twice or thrice: "Save your heels from the fire."

ENGAGEMENT HALAL or HARAAM ?????

Engagement does not mean that she is your mahram.

The Pre Marriage dangers: By - Nisaar Nadiadwala

A friend of mine got his daughter engaged.
They were a rich family so there was a party to celebrate.

It was more like a reception of a wedding.

The couple stood on the stage and the ceremony began with a ring in each other's fingers.

People clapped like in a birthday party candles blow off and flocked to congrajulate.

The bride did not have a hijab and it was all a mix gathering like an exhibition of a Barbie Bride and manequin Husband.

Everybody agreed that the couple was awesome nd wished them a happy marriage life

The nikah was fixed for next year.
but in a few months the engagement broke off.

There were many reasons hurled by both the sides.

But one wise man summed it up this way :

The couple enjoyed companionship without halal and behaved like a husband and wife before they were, so soon they got saturated of each other.

They quickly saw each other's human weakness and flaws, which are common in each of us so the relations landed before it could take off.

It took two years and hundreds of certified clarifications for the girl's parents to get another boy for their daughter."We wasted a lot of money" the parents mourned.

But they didnt seem to mourn about the unIslamic liberty that the
Namahram boy took with their daugther in the pretext of being their'son in law',
which Islamically he was not.

One of the most common and dangerous error about fixing up nikah is the term  'engagement' which is made to appear as a valid commitment of nikah.

Those who do not know the basics of deen, nor have Islamic friend circle to guide them are the biggest victim of this.

It is astonishing to know that even'the so called practicing Muslms', people in beard and hijab attend such engagements and participate in a ritual under the pressure of the host!

I have yet to hear a ( Nikah or Jumuah) khutbah in any masjid where the speaker speaks about engagement as not a part of nikah.

In my Da'wah life of 21 years I have attended around 1000 Jumuah khutbas attentively in more than 200 different masajids of India but I am surprised how it .  not come to the mind of the khateeb to address it.

Clarifying that engagement is not a part of Nikah ritual has become as neccesary as talks on discouraging dowry.

It comes no where near any essentiality of Nikah.

Engagement does not mean that she is your mahram.

You have no right'to take her out'for a coffee in a restaurant.

You have no right to message her on wattsapp as if you are already her husband.

Such type of togetherness is fahisha, and asking it as a licence to drive'your wife to be'is an interferance in the shariah of Allah.

No one has a right to transform a haram into halal.

She is not your wife and there is no term'FIANCEE'in Islamic Marriage Code.

Either she is your wife or she is not your wife.

Either she is your mahram or she is not your mahram.

One can fix the nikah and the date can be later but till then there should be no intermingling between the two.

Or one can get married and the rukhsati can be later.

But let the community realise that their daughters are not available for haram fun in the garb of engagment.

Engagement ritual is a crap..
Dust it into a bin.

May Allah forgive us.....

GUIDELINES AND SHAR’I CONDITIONS WHICH MUST BE FULFILLED FOR THE NASHEED PERMISSIBLE INCLUDES

1.     The WORDS of the nasheed must be FREE of HARAAM and foolish words.

2.     The nasheed should NOT be accompanied by MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS. No musical instrument is permitted except the DUFF FOR WOMEN on certain occasions.

3.     It should be free of SOUND EFFECTS that IMITATE MUSICAL instruments, because what counts is what appears to be the case, and imitating haraam instruments is not permissible, especially when the bad effect is the same as that which happens with real instruments.

4.     Listening to nasheed SHOULD NOT BECOME a HABIT which takes up a person’s time and affects his duties and mustahabb actions, such as affecting his reading of QUR’AAN and calling others to Allaah.

5.     The PERFORMER of a nasheed SHOULD NOT be a WOMAN performing in FRONT of MEN, or a MAN with an enchan6ting APPEARANCE or VOICE performing in front of WOMEN.

6.     One should avoid LISTENING to performers with SOFT VOICES who move their BODIES in RHYTHM, because there is FITNAH in all of that and it is an imitation of the evildoers.

7.     One should AVOID the IMAGES that are put on the covers of their TAPES, and more important than that, one should avoid the video CLIPS that accompany their nasheeds, especially those which contain provocative movements and imitations of immoral singers.

8.     The PURPOSE of the nasheed should be the words, not the tune.

Fasting on Mondays & Thursdays!

Do you know the virtue of fasting on Mondays & thursdays?... The prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) used to fast on Mondays and Thursdays and when he was asked about it by Usamah (R.A), he (S.A.W) said: "The deeds are presented (to Allaah) on Mondays and Thursdays, so I like that my deeds are lifted while I am fasting.” [An-Nasaa’i and Abu Daawood].

In another hadith, Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Prophet (S.A.W) used to fast on Mondays and Thursdays and he was asked:
''O Prophet of Allaah, why do you fast on Mondays and Thursdays?, and he replied: ''On Mondays and Thursdays, Allaah forgives to every Muslim except for two persons who are deserting (enmity and disputes) each other, and Allaah would say to the angels, “leave them until they reconcile.” [Ibn Maajah].

So brothers and sisters in Islam, let get our intentions right and our minds focused, and BI'IZNILLAH  (by the permission of Allah) fast tomorrow, we will be forgiven and rewarded Insha'Allah.
It worth it!                                                        ☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑

Three of the many questions which the children will ask parents on the day of Judgement

Just a reminder
Three of the many questions which the children will ask parents on the day of Judgement
1 mum and dad, was I born in a rightful marriage ( meaning that was nikkah performed pelio to my birth??)
Am sure many of us the answer will be yes, if not time to correct things is now. How let's consult our sheikhs, they will guide us.
2. What name did you give me when I was born??
On this one two most of us will be safe coz most of our children do have beautiful and Islamic names.
3. How did you bring me up as your child??  This is the most dangerous question which we will be asked on that day. Do we have the answer??
Most of us do fall victims when it comes to this. Upbringing of our children ; what did we or are we teaching our children??
Nowadays alhamdulillah we have Islamic schools, may be the school is far what effort have we make to make sure that we are going to be safe on the day of Judgement??

Today when it comes to school , we are able to take our children as far as possible so that they can be someone when they grow, we even get tuition teachers at home so that they can be what we want them to be. What about their RELIGION??  What do they know about it??  Do they know how to pray, do they know how read the Qur'an??  How much have we spent on that. Do we have a sheikh, Aalim, etc at home to teach our children or family about our Deen?? Most of us we fall victim of this and the answer we give is we are Busy!  Remember it's our responsibility and it has to be our primary thing and not secondary. Let's think deep on this and ponder over it. Remember it's a reminder. Allah tells us in suratul mulk, aya number 8  just at the end, it says ALAM YA'TIKUM NADHEER, which simply means, did the warner or reminder came to remind you??

Fasting on the day of Ashoorah

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet  Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets and Leader of the Messengers, and upon all his family and  companions.

My dear brothers and sisters in Islam, as we all know that the first month in the Islamic Calendar is “Muharram”, so here we  will focus ourselves mainly on the virtues and the importance of fasting in this holy month,  especially the 1st-10 Days.
The month of Muharram is the first month of the Arabic year, and it is one of the four sacred  months of Allaah. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):  “Verily, the number of months with Allaah is twelve months (in a year), so was it ordained by  Allaah on the Day when He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are Sacred (i.e. the  1st (Muharram), the 7th (Rajab), the 11th (Dhul Qa’ada) and the 12th (Dhul Hijjah) months of  the Islamic calendar). That is the right religion, so wrong not yourselves therein” [al-Tawbah 9:36]

The most important days in this month of Muharram are the 1st Ten days and the most important of them is the day of Aashora which is on the 10th of Muharram which will fall on the (23rd October-2015) Insha’Allah.

(This is the day on which Prophet Musa Alayhis Salaam and his followers crossed the Red Sea miraculously, and the Pharaoh was drowned in its water. This is the correct way, we should not use or see this day as a day to attribute to the killing of Hazrat Husayn (May Allah be Pleased with him) or something that is in not accordance with the Sunnah (The Prophet’s Way (Peace be Upon Him)).

We should also NOT single out this day only for fasting as the Jews were doing during the Prophet’s (pbuh) time, we should either fast one day before it or after it, that is, you can either choose between the 9th or 11th of Muharram (i.e. 22nd or 24th October) Plus the day itself which is on the 23rd October (10th of Muharram) Insha’Allah.
                                i.e 22+23 or 23+24.‎

This is evidence where the Prophet (pbuh) said: "Observe the fast of Aashora and oppose the Jews.  Fast a day before it or a day after.

So my brothers and sisters in Islam, let us as true Muslims always take the advantage of the blessed occasions and days of Islam. Let’s spare no efforts in drawing ourselves closer to Allah. In doing so, we should concern ourselves with knowing the virtuous days and occasions in Islam so as to follow our Prophet's suit (Peace be upon him) in all spheres of life.  Therefore, we should take advantage of this opportunity.  May Allah make it easy for us as we strive to please Him.  Ameen ya Rabb.

THE MONTH  OF ALLAH.

The month of Allah is a great & blessed month. It is the first month of the Hijri year & is one of the sacred months:“Verily, the number of months with Allah is twelve months (in a year), so was it ordained by Allah on the Day when He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are Sacred, that is the right religion, so wrong not yourselves therein”[9:36].
Abu Bakr (ra) : the Prophet (saw) said: “The division of time has turned to its original form which was current the day Allaah created the heavens and earth. The year consists of twelve months of which four are sacred: three consecutive months, Dhu’l-Qa’dah, Dhu’l-Hijjah, Muharram, and Rajab of Mudar which comes between Jumada and Sha’baan.” Bukhari.
Qataadah & Ibn ‘Abbaas said,“so wrong not yourselves therein” [9:36]: applies in all months, then Allah singled out 4-months, made them sacred, emphasize their sanctity & He made sin during these months more grave, & He made righteous deeds & the reward thereof greater
Qataadah said: Allah has chosen elites from His creation: from among the angels He chose Messengers, from among mankind He chose Messengers, from among speech He chose remembrance of Him (dhikr), from among spaces on earth He chose the mosques, from among the months He chose Ramadan & the sacred months, from among days of the week He chose Friday (Jumu‘ah), from among days of the year he chose the 1st 10 days as the best  &  from among nights He chose Laylat al-Qadr
⛅So, venerate that which has been chosen by Allah, for people of understanding & wisdom respect that which has been chosen by Allah. We should not confuse the months of Hajj (10th ,11th & 12th months: Shawwaal, Dhu’l-Qi’dah & Dhu’l-Hijjah) with the sacred months (the 1st, 7th, 11th & 12th months)
It is virtuous to observe a great deal of naafil (supererogatory) fasts during the month of Muharram. Abu Hurayrah (ra) : Messenger of Allah (saw) said: “The best fast after Ramadan is in the month of Allah Muharram.” Muslim
The phrase “the month of Allah (shahr Allah)” is indicative of the veneration this month deserves, as it is attributed to Allah. Al-Qaari said: What appears to be the case is that what is meant is the entire month of Muharram.
This sacred & virtuous month (Muharram) also contains another virtuous day called ‘ASHOORA’.Prophet (saw) said: “……fasting the day of ‘Ashoora’ I hope Allaah will expiate thereby for the year that came before it.”Muslim
⚠But it is proven that the Prophet (saw) never fasted any month in full apart from Ramadan. So this hadeeth is to be understood as meaning that it is encouraged to fast a great deal during the month of Muharram, not to fast the entire month.Prophet (saw) fasted a great deal during Sha‘baan, & perhaps the virtues of Muharram was not revealed to him until the end of his life, before he was able to fast during this month. Muslim.
