Who is Allah (swt)?

Some of The biggest misconceptions that many non-Muslims have about Islam have to do with the word "ALLAH".

For various reasons, many people have come to believe that Muslims worship a different God than Christians and Jews. This is totally false, since "ALLAH" is simply that Arabic word for "God" - and there is only One God. Muslims worship the God of Noah, Abraham, Moses, David and Jesus - peace be upon them all. However, it is certainly true that Jews, Christians and Muslims all have different concepts of Almighty God.

For example, Muslims - like Jews - reject the Christians beliefs of the Trinity and the Divine Incarnation.

First of all, it is important to note that "ALLAH" is the same word that Arabic-speaking Christians and Jews use for God. If you pick up an Arabic Bible, you will see the word "ALLAH" being used where "God" is used in English. This is because "ALLAH" is the only word in the Arabic language equivalent to the English word "God".

Additionally, the word "ALLAH" CANNOT be made plural or given a gender, which goes hand in hand with the Islamic concept of God. If we were to use the name God, it can be made into plurals and given gender, i.e. god's, goddess, etc.

The Aramaic word "El", which is the word for God in the Language that Jesus (pbuh) used and spoke, is certainly more similar in sound to the word "ALLAH" than the English word "God". This also holds true for the various Hebrew words for God, which are "El" and "Elah", and the plural form "Elohim". The reason for these similarities is that Aramaic, Hebrew and Arabic are all Semitic languages (Sister Languages), with common origins.

Translating the Bible into English, the Hebrew word "El" is translated variously as "God", "god" and "angel"! This imprecise language allows different translators, based on their preconceived notions, to translate the word to fit their own views. The Arabic Word "ALLAH" on the other hand presents no such difficulty, since it is only used for The Almighty God alone.

The Arabic word "ALLAH" also contains a deep religious message due to its root meaning and origin. This is because it stems from the Arabic verb ta'allaha (or alaha), which means "to be worshipped". Thus in Arabic, the word "ALLAH" means "The One who deserves all worship". This, in a nutshell, is the Pure Monotheistic (one) message of Islam.

What is Islam?: The Essential Beliefs of Islam

There are many aspects of belief in which one who adheres to Islam must have firm conviction.  From those aspects, the most important are six, known as the “Six Articles of Belief”.

1) Belief in God

Islam upholds strict monotheism and belief in God forms the heart of their faith.  Islam teaches belief in one God who neither gives birth nor was born Himself, and has no share in His caretaking of the world.  He alone gives life, causes death, brings good, causes affliction, and provides sustenance for His creation.  God in Islam is the sole Creator, Lord, Sustainer, Ruler, Judge, and Savior of the universe.  He has no equal in His qualities and abilities, such as knowledge and power.  All worship, veneration and homage is to be directed to God and none else.  Any breach of these concepts negates the basis of Islam.

2) Belief in the Angels

Adherents to Islam must believe in the Unseen world as mentioned in the Quran.  From this world are the angels’ emissaries of God, each assigned with a specific task. They have no free-will or ability to disobey; it is their very nature to be God's faithful servants. Angels are not to be taken as demigods or objects of praise or veneration; they are mere servants of God obeying His every command.

3) Belief in the Prophets and Messengers

Islam is a universal and inclusive religion.  Muslims believe in the prophets, not just the Prophet Muhammad, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him, but the Hebrew prophets, including Abraham and Moses, as well as the prophets of the New Testament, Jesus, and John the Baptist.  Islam teaches God did not send prophets to Jews and Christians alone, rather He sent prophets to all nations in the world with one central message: worship God alone.  Muslim must believe in all prophets sent by God mentioned in the Quran, without making any distinction between them.  Muhammad was sent with the final message, and there is no prophet to come after him.  His message is final and eternal, and through him God completed His Message to humanity.

4) Belief in the Sacred Texts

Muslims believe in all books that God has sent down to humanity through His prophets.  These books include the Books of Abraham, the Torah of Moses, the Psalms of David, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  These books all had the same source (God), the same message, and all were revealed in truth.  This does not mean that they have been preserved in truth.  Muslims (and many other Jewish and Christian scholars and historians) find that the books in existence today are not the original scriptures, which in fact have been lost, changed, and/or translated over and over again, losing the original message.

As Christians view the New Testament to fulfill and complete the Old Testament, Muslims believe that the Prophet Muhammad received revelations from God through the angel Gabriel to correct human error that had entered into the scriptures and doctrine of Judaism, Christianity and all other religions.  This revelation is the Quran, revealed in the Arabic language, and found today in its pristine form.  It seeks to guide mankind in all walks of life; spiritual, temporal, individual and collective.  It contains directions for the conduct of life, relates stories and parables, describes the attributes of God, and speaks of the best rules to govern social life.  It has directions for everybody, every place, and for all time.  Millions of people today have memorized the Quran, and all copies of the Quran found today and in the past are identical.  God has promised that He will guard the Quran from change until the end of times, so that Guidance be clear to humanity and the message of all the prophets be available for those who seek it.

5) Belief in Life after Death

Muslims believe that a day will come when all of creation will perish and resurrected in order to be judged for their deeds: The Day of Judgment.  On this day, all will gather in the presence of God and each individual will be questioned about their life in the world and how they lived it.  Those who held correct beliefs about God and life, and followed their belief with righteous deeds will enter Paradise, even though they may pay for some of their sins in Hell if God out of His Infinite Justice chooses not to forgive them.  As for those who fell into polytheism in its many faces, they will enter Hellfire, never to leave therefrom.

6) Belief in the Divine Decree

Islam asserts that God has full power and knowledge of all things, and that nothing happens except by His Will and with His full knowledge.  What is known as divine decree, fate, or "destiny" is known in Arabic as al-Qadr.  The destiny of every creature is already known to God.

This belief however does not contradict with the idea of man's free will to choose his course of action.  God does not force us to do anything; we can choose whether to obey or disobey Him.  Our choice is known to God before we even do it.  We do not know what our destiny is; but God knows the fate of all things.

Therefore, we should have firm faith that whatever befalls us, it is according to God's will and with His full knowledge.  There may be things that happen in this world that we do not understand, but we should trust that God has wisdom in all things.

May Almighty Allah forgive our sins  and give us the understanding of His religion...

STOP ABORTION!!!

A LETTER FROM AN ABORTED CHILD

Dear Mum,
I have decided to talk to you to let you know my feelings. I want to know why you did it. My story is short. I stayed inside you for only a couple of weeks. I was very comfortable and warm. I felt really protected. I knew you were a special
person because you never stopped me from eating the food you ate. I longed for the day I would see your face. Nine months was a long time to wait, but I was determined to wait. I had to be patient.
One day I heard you converse with a man about me. And at some stage you quarreled. The man then offered you some amount of money to get
rid of me. I was happy and prayed
that this meant that I would at least see you, the only person that I knew in the world. I was wrong. I had almost forgotten the issues until I felt something sharp pierce my tiny ear. I jerked silently and in pain, and asked you to protect me. Seconds later the object came, fiercer than before. My tiny body was cut up, starting from the ears then arms and legs. It was an agonizing experience. My head was then cut off and I died.
It took me a whole hour to die. A whole hour for an innocent few weeks human being to be murdered by you! I remember the whole incident vividly and I keep asking myself what I did to deserve that cruel death. Why me? Why did you do that to me? And why was I not given a chance to live just like they children you hear playing around? How do you feel when you send some of them on errands when I could have done that with pride if you had given me the chance to live? Don't you see the beauty in playing with a child that calls you mom with a sweet soft voice?
I know you are having a lot of nightmares. You remain guilty for the beastly act. Please explain to God why you committed the heinous act. He sent me to you as a very special gift. My purpose was to make you proud by being the great person God meant me to be. I have forgiven you though I never lived to see your face. My journey back to my creator was safe, and I arrived safely. I was given a red-carpet welcome by an angel. I am in fact without bitterness. I still love you, mum.
Yours sorry for you,
Never-seen child.

ONCE YOU DIE

You will go offline on Facebook, you will go offline on whatsApp, you will go offline on viber, you will go offline on tango, you will go offline on twitter and you will also go offline on instagram. Your phone number will be off. You will no longer comment on posts or even receive messages or information from family and friends. Your friends, family and even your enemies will cry because there will be no more you. But you know what will remain when you are gone? The Qur'an that you read will be online. Your 5 daily prayers will be online. Your zakat will be online. Your good deeds will be online. Your Ramadan and Sunnah fasting will be online. All the things that you did for the sake of Allah will be online with you inside the grave. Let all of us think about this. Eventually we are all going to die. Because death is Haqq (right) upon every living thing and every soul shall taste death! Why not prepare for that time? Because that time it will be only you. Why not stop being afraid of people? Why not stop being afraid of what people will say? Why don't you take decisions that will benefit you on the day of judgement? Why don't you take decisions that will help you in the grave? Why not please Allah and have eternal happiness, fun and enjoyment? Remember; Every soul shall taste death. Many of us Muslims fear or feel shame to share an Islamic post on our wall just because we have non-Muslims in our friend list. Let me ask you just one question, do you fear your Creator (Allah) or the creation? SHARE if you are proud to be a Muslim so others can benefit Insha'Allah. May Allah make it easy for us. Ameen Yaa Rabb!

ARE YOU REWARDED FOR READING THE QUR'AN EVEN THOUGH YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND IT'S MEANING?

QUESTION:

WILL ONE be rewarded for reading the Qur'ān even though he [or she] does not know its MEANING?

ANSWER:

YES he [or she] will be rewarded due to general statement of the Messenger ﷺ:

Whoever reads the Qur'ān, he will have ten rewards for every letter.

Then he ﷺ said: And I am not saying that:

‘Alif, Laam, Meem’ is a letter, rather:

- 'Alif’ is a letter and
- 'Meem’ is a letter.

A NON MUSLIM MOTHER WISH

A little child entered a Masjid in Paris he went to the Imam and told him: ”Sir, my mom sent me here so that I can study in your school”"But where is your mother?” the Imam asked the littleboy“She is standing in front of the Masjid door” he replied ”She is a non Muslim”The Imam went to her asking her why she, as a non Muslim woman, wants her little child to study in an Islamic schoolShe simply said:”my neighbor is a Muslim woman. Every time she takes her children to the school, they kiss her hands before going. They treat her like a queen. Her family is always happy. Please, teach my child in your school so that he treats me as Muslim children treat their parents”"SUBHAN'ALLAH

Tahneek and science

Over 1436 years ago, when a child was born, the Prophet ﷺ  made it his SUNNAH to take a small part of a date and place it in his mouth. He would then chew it until it was soft and then rub it onto the palate of the new born baby. This is called Tahneek.

Today, BBC News has reported that "experts" have said - "A dose of sugar given as a gel rubbed into the inside of the cheek is a cheap and effective way to protect premature babies against brain damage"

This is why Muslims follow the SUNNAH of the Prophet ﷺ    without questioning it.

Science is only now discovering a tradition that was introduced 1436 years ago because ISLAM was and still is the forefront of development.

Let this be known to 'Modern Muslims' that all Fashion & all Science ends  from where SUNNAH begins..
SubhanAllah.....
All praise to ALLAH subhanahu wa Ta’ala......

Wudhu And Depression !.

Valuable Information.

Wudhu And Depression !.

One of the doctors revealed an amazing discovery in his speech by saying, “I get the face of patients with depression washed five times per day and after few days their disease reduced.
Then I get the face, hands and feet of a similar group of patients washed five times a day and they healed up to a great extent.
The same doctor accepts in the end of his speech that the problem of depression is less in Muslims as they wash face, hands and feet (i.e. during Wudhu) several times daily.

Wudhu and The Blood Pressure !.

A heart specialist assures that if a patient of hypertension is asked to perform Wudhu and then his blood pressure is checked, his B.P. will be definitely lower.
A Muslim Psychiatrist states, "The best cure for psychiatric patients lies in Wudhu". The western experts get body parts of
psychiatric patients washed several times like Wudhu.

Wudhu and Paralysis !.

Even the order of washing organs during Wudhu is beneficial.Washing of hands in the first step motivates the nervous system of the body and then slowly effects transmit towards veins of face and brain.
The order of washing hands, then mouth wash, then nose wash and then washing of remaining organs reduces probability of paralysis.

Pls do not ignore or delay reading this:

When lights are off at night, one must not view the hand phone! (Smartphone)

Please share with family friends URGENTLY.....

Habitually using hand phones before bedtime in the dark can lead to serious problems.

Recently, an increasing number of 30-40 year-old patients are seeking medical attention due to using hand phones in the dark.

Professor Li Li, director of the Hospital of Ophthalmology SGH Singapore, said: direct glare of >30 minutes would cause irreversible eye macular degeneration that leads to rapid deterioration of vision.

Contracting maculopathy (eye cancer) means waiting for loss of sight because modern medicine cannot treat, let alone cure it.
The bright phone in the dark with close-up view high-energy directed at the eyes will damage the macula of the eye.

Professor Li Li said that symptoms of macular degeneration is mostly experienced by old people, but lately patients are getting younger. Patients who are 30-40 years of age increased by 3 %, most are frequent users of hand phones.

However, viewing the hand phone in the dark not only causes macular degeneration. It initially causes dry eyes, cataracts and eventually loss of sight.

According to the Authodox medicine. Early lesions of the eye have to be treated with laser or injection of steroids. But Islamically wise, there are thousands and One medicine that Cure it, Allah willing.

254 Hospital eye specialist Professor Li Li suggested that the most important thing is to get rid of the bad habit of using hand phones in the dark. Because habitual use of hand phones in the dark b4 bedtime may cause a lifetime of harm.

Friends : In order to look after ourselves and our families, remember not to turn off the lights if viewing the hand phone. Inform hand phone users urgently that viewing hand phones in the dark can easily lead to loss of sight!

Sharing is caring.. And Allah knows Best.

DUSTING OF BED-SHEET..

Very Valuable Information
***************************
The wisdom behind dusting one bed sheet before sleeping.
Why should we dust our bed sheets?                                                               This is what is what we're going to reveal and here is where the scientific challenge and the conclusion by western scientists:                                                                    When someone sleeps some dead cells die and are dropped onto his bed sheet..                                                                  And whenever he wakes up he leaves it behind and hence it accumulates.                                                              This dead cells are invisible by naked eyes and can hardly be destroyed.                                                                When the quantity of these dead cells increases they easily penetrate back into the body causing serious sickness... May Allah forbids.                                                                     These western science tried to destroy the cell using various disinfectant such as dettol and the like, but all in vain... The dead cells neither moved nor disappear.
One of scientist said, he tried the dusting as in the Hadith three times and was astonished to find that all the dead cells disappeared!!

The Prophet saw:                                                  "Whoever goes to his bed, he should dust his bed three times, because he doesn't know what was left behind....".                                                        Most people think it is a way of eliminating small insects but don't know that the issue is so much greater than that...                                                                                                         It is very sad to find that most of us ignored such teachings of the Prophet PBUH.

Why do we need to get married? Allah has made marriage for us to multiply His creation in a halaal and respectable manner. He tells us in the Quran:
"O mankind, be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single soul (Adam), and from him, He created his wife (Hawwa) and from them both He created many men and women, and fear Allah, through Whom you demand (your mutual rights) and (do not cut the relationships of) the wombs (kinship). Surely Allah is ever an All-Watcher over you". [Surah An'Nisa 4:1]
We pray that Allah guide us in fulfilling this strong commandment of Allah and sunnah of our nabi (pbuh) - aameen
