Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Deeds for Jannah

Abu Ayyub RA reported: A man said to the Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam): “Direct me to a deed which may admit me to Jannah.” Upon this he (the Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam)) said, “Worship Allah and never associate anything with Him in worship, establish Salat, pay Zakat, and strengthen the ties of kinship.” (Bukhari and Muslim)

WHY ARE  WE ON PLANET EARTH?

Many people give the following answers to the above question; hip hop music, wine, weed, women, fun, good food, intimate relations, drugs, shopping, enjoyment, love & be kind to others, social media, money, wealth, fame etc
There is no religious or non-religious book on the face of the earth that has ever answered this question correctly & comprehensively except the QUR’AN.
What is Al-Qur'an; it is the final verbatim (direct) word of ALLAH. Whoever reads it in any language he or she understands with a mind that is not totally closed to the truth, intellect & logical reasoning will come to only one conclusion that Qur’an is a Divine Revelation
At some points in our lives, we all reflect on the Purpose of Creation. Why are we born on planet earth & who is controlling everything? In our quest for the Truth & Purpose, most sincere truth seekers always end up reverting to Islam
The Qur’an has answers to every question that a human mind is unable to answer but we don’t make efforts to read it in a language we understand.
ALLAH says "And I (Allah) created not the jinn & humankind except that they should worship ME" Q51:56.
☝The essential purpose for which Mankind is created is to worship one God; the Uncreated Creator of mankind & the visible & the invisible components of the Universe.
In Islam, every action of a person can become worship if it is done in accordance with the commands of ALLAH & the authentic Sunnah(not fabricated sunnah).
"Say: 'Surely my prayer, my sacrifice, my living & my dying are for ALLAH, the Lord of  the worlds. 'Q 6:162
♻Without the correct Quranic knowledge of the Purpose of life/Creation, all human beings will wander aimlessly. Most human beings including the most developed nations like Japan, America & Europe having lots of social problems like Alcoholism, Drugs, Depression, Suicide, Prostitution, Trafficking, Wars, Organised Crimes, Terrorism, Gangsterism, LGBTI(Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Intersex) etc.
✅The True Islam (Not cultural Islam, deviant sects or MISLAM) is the solution to all problems of the world & the HUGE  unimaginable task of the Day of Judgement
Read Al-Qur’an from COVER TO COVER IN ANY LANGUAGE YOU  UNDERSTAND  & REDISCOVER YOUR PURPOSE OF CREATION i.e. ISLAM (Submission)

Reflect! Benefits of Tahajjud (The Night Prayer)

Assalamu Alaikum WarahmatuLlah ta'ala wabarakatuhu. ...

"If there is something you want in life and you are not praying tahajjud for it you don't really want it." — Shaykh Yasir Qadhi

''The Dua made at tahajjud is like an arrow that does not miss its target.'' — Imaam Ash Shafi (ra)

Abu Hurayra (Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace be upon him) said, "The best prayer after the obligatory prayers is the night prayer." [Sahih Muslim]
Benefits of Tahajjud (The Night Prayer):
1 - Implementing the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu alayhi was sallam) which he never use to miss
2 - A way of getting your Dua's accepted
3 - A way of getting your sins forgiven
4 - By performing it, it will bring light to your face and soul
5 - It helps you fight your desires
6 - It makes you closer to Allah
7 - It builds the love of the Hereafter in your heart
8 - It softens the heart and humbles you in front of Allah
9 - It strengthens the Qur’an that you have memorised

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radiallahu anhu): Allah’s Apostle (Peace be upon him) said, “Our Lord, the Blessed, the Superior, comes every night down on the nearest Heaven to us when the last third of the night remains, saying: “Is there anyone to invoke Me, so that I may respond to invocation? Is there anyone to ask Me, so that I may grant him his request? Is there anyone seeking My forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?” [Bukhari]

SHARE and Spread the knowledge so it will be Sadqa-e-Jaaria (everlasting charity) for you and for me... In'Shaa'Allah.

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever directs someone to a good, then he will have the reward equal to the doer of the action.” [Muslim 1893]

Heart touching Real Life True Story!!!

It’s about a Muslim man named Rashid. He Says. “I was not a practicing
Muslim, I had bad friends. I enjoyed
going out with them. I was almost never home, but always at
gatherings with friends, in these gatherings we backbite, gossiped and
made fun of people. I was especially known among my friends to make
jokes and
people were impressed by the way I was so good at it.
One night (at the time I was 30 and married and my wife was pregnant
with our 1st child) I was as usual gathered with my friends and talking
useless talk. I was telling them how I was at the market one day and I
saw a blind man and I put my leg out in front of this man and the blind
man tripped and fell on his face. My friends laughed and so on. When I
went back home that night, my wife told me ‘were have u been?’ ‘I am
so tired and sick and I think I am in labor.’ A tear dropped down her
cheek. I felt guilty, for I hadn’t cared about my wife properly. I
quickly took her to the hospital. She was in pain for a long time and
could not give birth,
I waited patiently, but eventually I left and told the hospital to call me
when she gave birth. An hour later, they called telling me my wife had
given birth to baby boy named Salem. I quickly went to the hospital. I
asked which room my wife was in. They told me that I had to see the
doctor first. I got mad at them and said
“What doctor? I want to see my son!?!” they insisted that I see the
doctor first. So I went to the doctor, she first talked to me about
calamities and that one
must accept the will (qadar) of Allah.
Then she told me, ‘your son is blind!’ I lowered my head and
remembered the blind man I tripped and made fun of. I didn’t know
what to say, I thanked the doctor for her kindness and went to see my
wife. My wife was not sad, rather she accepted the will of Allah
Almighty.
She had always advised me not to make fun of people and not to gossip
and backbite. We left the hospital. I
did not care about Salem, I did not like him, I pretended that he wasn’t
even in the house. But, my wife loved Salem very much and cared for
him.
Salem grew and he began to crawl, he wasn’t crawling properly. When
he began to walk, we discovered that he
was handicapped. This was too much for me. Later, my wife gave birth
to 2 boys, Omar and Khalid. Years passed, Salem and his brothers grew.
I continued
to hang out with my bad friends and did not like to be at home.
However, my wife was patient with me and she always made Dua that
Allah guide me.
One Friday, I woke up at 11 am (which was early for me) and was
getting ready to go to a walimah (I did not go to Jummah). I got
dressed, put on a tie, and was about to head out the door when I saw
Salem (who was 10 yrs old) crying very loudly in the living room. So,
for the first time in 10 years I cared and went to ask him why he was
crying. When Salem felt me coming near, he stopped crying and pushed
me away as if to say, “Now you care, where you were for the past 10
years!”
Salem was calling his mother and brothers, but no one was answering
him, so he went to his room. I followed him. At first, he would not tell
me why he was crying. Do you know why he was crying? His brother
Omar, who normally took him to the masjid, was late. Salem was afraid
that since it was a Friday, he would not be able to get a spot in the
front row at the mosque. I said,
“Is that why you cried salem?” Salem answered positively.
I, out of disbelief from what I heard, forgot about my
friends and the walimah. I then told Salem that I would take him to the
mosque. Salem could not believe what he had heard. He thought his
father was mocking him. He then began to cry. I wiped Salem’s tears
and took him by his hand to take him to the car. Salem refused. He said
the mosque is near, and he wants to walk there by foot. I could not
remember the last time he went to the mosque. The mosque was full,
but I was able to find a spot for salem in the first row. After prayer
was over, Salem asked me to get him a copy of the Quran. I thought,
‘how can he want a Quran if he is blind!!!! [truncated by WhatsApp]

Allah's Accuracy  - Beautiful

When Allah solves our problems, we have faith in HIS abilities;
When Allah doesn't solve our problems HE has faith in our abilities.

Allah's accuracy may be observed in the hatching of eggs. . . . .
-those of the canary in 14 days;
-those of the barnyard hen in 21 days;
-eggs of ducks and geese in 28 days;
-those of the mallard in 35 days;
-The eggs of the parrot and the ostrich hatch in 42 days. (Notice, they are all divisible by seven, the number of days in a week!)

Allah's wisdom is seen in the making of an elephant. The four legs of this great beast all bend forward in the same direction. No other quadruped is so made. Allah planned that this animal would have a huge body, too large to live on two legs. For this reason He gave it four fulcrums so that it can rise from the ground easily.

The horse rises from the ground on its two front legs first. A cow rises from the ground with its two hind legs first. How wise the Lord is in all His works of creation!

-Each watermelon has an even number of stripes on the rind.
-Each orange has an even number of segments.
-Each ear of corn has an even number of rows.
-Each stalk of wheat has an even number of grains.
-Every bunch of bananas has on its lowest row an even number of bananas, and each row decreases by one, so that one row has an even number and the next row an odd number. Amazing!

-The waves of the sea roll in on shore twenty-six to the minute in all kinds of weather.
-All grains are found in even numbers on the stalks.

Allah has caused the flowers to blossom at certain specified times during the day. Linnaeus, the great botanist, once said that if he had a conservatory containing the right kind of soil, moisture and temperature, he could tell the time of day or night by the flowers that were open and those that were closed!

The lives of each of us may be ordered by the Lord in a beautiful way for His glory, if we will only entrust Him with our life. If we try to regulate our own life, it will only be a mess and a failure. Only Allah, who made our brain and heart, can successfully guide them to a profitable end.

I Pray Allah Bless You In Ways You Never Even Dreamed.

and a body of a donkey and was
given several punishments.

9)Another had the face of a dog, fire was entering her body from her posterior and come out of her
mouth and the angels were
beating her with iron rods

Fatimah then inquired her father, 'Please, tell me, what did these women do(to deserve such punishment)?'

Then the Prophet Sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam said :

'Listen my dear; 1)The one who was hanging by her breast used to deny her husband, his rightful pleasure.

2)The one hanging by her feet used to go out of her house without her husband's permission.

3)The one eating her own flesh used to beautify herself and show her body to men other than her husband.

4)The one who's hands and feet were tied together and covered with snakes and scorpions never to care impurity and wasn't careful about ghusl, thus taking her prayer lightly.

5)The deaf, blind, and dumb, used to bear children through adultery but claim the children belonged to her husband.

6)The one whose body was being cut by scissors made of fire never observed hijab in front of non mahrem men.

8)The one with the face of a pig and a body of a donkey was a backbiter and a liar.

9) And those with the face of a dog and who had fire entering her behind and coming out of her face was a jealous woman.

DEATH ON HER WEDDING NIGHT!!!

“After performing Salat Al Maghrib, she
put her make-up, wore her beautiful
white dress preparing herself for her
wedding party, Then she heard the Adhan of ‘Ishaa and she realized that
she broke her Wudu she told her
mother : “mother, I have to go to make
wudu and pray ‘Ishaa”
Her mother was shocked : “Are you
crazy?!! Guests are waiting for you, to see you! what about your make -up? It
will be all washed away by water!!” then
she added:
” I am your mother and I order you not
to perform salah now! wallahi if you
make wudu now, I will be angry at you” Her daughter replied :”wallahi I won’t
go out from here till I perform my
salah! Mother you must know that
“There is no obedience to any creature
in disobedience to the Creator.”!!
Her mother said:”what would our guests say about you when you’ll show
up in your wedding party without
make-up?! You won’t be beautiful in
their eyes! and They will make fun of
you!”
The daughter asked with a smile :”Are you worried because I won’t be
beautiful in the eyes of creations? What
about my Creator?! I am worried
because, if I miss my salah, I won’t be
beautiful in His eyes”
She started to make wudu, and all her make-up was washed away, but she
didn’t care
Then she began her salah and at the
moment she bowed down to make
sujud, she didn’t realize that it will be
her last one! Yes! She died while in sujud! What a
great ending for a Muslimah who
insisted on obeying her Lord! Many
people who heard her story were so
touched!!
She put Him and His obedience first in her priorities, so He granted her the
best ending that any Muslim would

She wanted to be closer to Him, so He
took her soul in the place where
Muslim are the closest to Him! Subhana Allah!
She didn’t care if she would be
beautiful in the eyes of creatures so
she was beautiful in the eyes of Her
Creator!
O Muslim sister, imagine if you are in her place! What will you do? What will
you choose : pleasing creations or your
Creator?
O dear sister! Do you guarantee that
you will live for the next minutes?
Hours? Months?!! No one knows when their hour will
come? Or when will they meet angels
of death? So are you ready for that
moment?
O non-hijabi sister! What do you
choose : Pleasing yourself by not wearing Hijab or pleasing your Lord by
wearing hijab?
Are you ready to meet Him without
Hijab?
And what about you, sister who are “in
relationship” or “open relationship”, are you ready to meet your Lord
today? Tomorrow?! What do you
choose pleasures of this Dunya or
pleasures of akhirah?!
May Allah guide us all to what pleases
Him and grant everyone who is reading these lines good ending,

Muslim Always On Duty

When an European Airline was initially launched, an educated Muslim gentleman was Traveling in the first class section. An air hostess approached him with a complimentary drink, this was an alcoholic drink so that man politely refused.
The air hostess returned but this time bought the drink on a platter, designed to appeal and impress however Muslim man again politely refused, explaining he doesn't drink alcohol.
The air hostess was concerned and informed the manager. The manager approached man with another platter, now designed with flowers, he questioned, “is there something wrong with our service? please enjoy the drink, it is a complimentary offer.” The man replied, “I am a Muslim and I do not drink alcohol.” The manager still insisted that the man take the drink.
Then, the Muslim proposed that the manager should give the drink to the pilot first. The manager stated, “how can the pilot drink alcohol, he’s on duty!? And if he drinks there are all chances for the plane to crash”.
The passenger with tears in his eye, replied, “I am a Muslim and I am always on duty in order to protect my Imaan (Faith) and if I drink I will crash my whole life here and hereafter.

One day a poor man brought a bunch of grapes to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as a gift

One day a poor man brought a bunch of grapes to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as a gift. He was very excited to be able to bring a gift for the Prophet ﷺ. He placed the grapes beside the Prophet ﷺ and said, ‘O Prophet of Allah, please accept this small gift from me’.
He was a poor man who could not afford more. His face beamed with happiness as he offered his small gift. It was evident that he loved the Prophet a lot.
The Prophet ﷺ thanked him graciously. As the man looked at him expectantly, the Prophet ate one grape. Then he ate another one.
Slowly the Prophet finished the whole bunch of grapes by himself. He did not offer grapes to anyone present.
The poor man who brought those grapes was very pleased and left.
The companions of the Prophet ﷺ who were around him were surprised.
Usually the Prophet ﷺ shared whatever he got with them. He would offer them whatever he was given and they would eat it together.
Usually he would start first, out of respect to the person who had given him the gift. But he would always offer it to others.
This time had been different. Without offering it to anyone, the Prophet ﷺ finished the bunch of grapes by himself.
One of the companions asked respectfully, "O Prophet of Allah! How come you ate all the grapes by yourself and did not offer to any one of us present?”
The holy Prophet ﷺ smiled and said, "I ate all the grapes by myself because the grapes were sour.
If I would have offered you, you might have made funny faces and shown your distaste of the grapes.
That would have hurt the feelings of that poor man.
I thought to myself that it's better that I eat all of them cheerfully and please the poor man. I did not want to hurt the feelings of that poor man."
Moral:
1) Consideration for the feelings of others
2) Graciousness in accepting gifts.
Subhan'Allah.. Such was the character and
manner of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam).

SUNNAH'S OF SLEEPING

Today science and medical research tells us the best and most healthy sleeping position is to sleep on your back or on your right side which we (muslims) were told 1400 years ago by our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings upon him).

1. Sleeping with Wudoo (abulution)...

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said to al-Baraa` bin ‘Aazib (May Allah be pleased with him): If you go to your bed, then do your wudoo` (ablution) as you would do it for prayer, then lie on your right, [Bukhari]

2. Sleeping on the right side...

The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to sleep on his right side, putting his right hand on his right cheek, and this is what the Prophet (peace be upon him) recommended others to do. According to a saheeh hadeeth narrated from al-Baraa’ ibn ‘Aazib, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “When you go to bed, do wudoo’ as if for prayer, then lie down on your right side…” [Bukhari]

3. Reciting Surat al-Ikhlas, an-Nas, and an-Naas Before Sleeping...

‘Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Messenger (peace be upon him) used to recite “Qulhuwallahu ahad”, “Qul a’oothu birrabilfalaq” and “Qul a’oothu birrabinnaas” every night when he went to sleep, then wiped his face and whatever he was able from his body, beginning with his head and face, and what faces him from his body, three times”. [Al-Bukhaari]

4. Doing Takbeer and Tasbeeh When Going to Sleep...

‘Ali (May Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said when Faatimah (May Allah be pleased with her) asked him for a servant, “Shall I not lead you to that which is better for you than a servant? If you go to your mattresses, or rest to sleep, then say Allahu Akbar thirty-four times, and say subhaan Allah thirty-three times, and say alhamdulilah thirty-three times, for they are better for you than having a servant”

5. Do Zikr while sleeping...

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleasedd with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, ”Whoever sits in a place where he does not remember Allah (Exalted is He), he will suffer loss and incur displeasure of Allah; and whoever lies down (to sleep) in a place where he does not remember Allah, he will suffer sorrow and incur displeasure of Allah.” [Abu Dawud].

6. Making Du’a When Awoken from Sleep...

‘Ubaadah bin as-Saamit narrates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Anyone awoken in the night and says: Laa ilaha illa Allah, wahdatu laa shareeka lah, lahul-mulku walahul hamd, wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay`in qadeer, alhamdulilah was-subhaan Allah, wallahu akbar, wa laa hawla wa laa quwata illa billah, then said, Allahumma aghfirli or invoked Allah, he will be answered, and if he does ablution and prays, his prayer will be accepted” [al-Bukhaari: 1154]

7. Du’a Once Awake...

Narrated by Huthayfa Al –Yamaan, “Alhamdulilahalatheeahyaanaaba’damaaamatana, wailayhin-nushoor” (Praise be to ALLAH SWT who granted us life after death, and to HIM we will be resurrected)
(Bukhari: 6312)

8. Disapproved posture of sleep...

Ya’ish bin Tikhfah Al-Ghifari (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: My father said: I was lying down on my belly in the mosque when someone shook me with his foot and said, “Lying down this way is disapproved by Allah.” I looked up and saw that it was Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). [Abu Dawud] This form of lying is a common practiced by many of us out of ignorance. We need to correct our posture of sleeping.

Brothers and sisters we must strive to adopt these Sunnah's in our lives. In'Shaa'Allah!!

GLASS OF MILK

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry.

He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door.

Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water!
She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it so slowly, and then asked, How much do I owe you?"

You don't owe me anything," she replied. "Mother has taught us never to accept pay for a kindness."

He said ... "Then I thank you from my heart."

As Abdallah Ahmed left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit.

Many years later that same young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease.

Dr. Abdalllah Ahmed was called in for the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes.

Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room.

Dressed in his doctor's gown he went in to see her. He recognized her at once.

He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to her case.

After a long struggle, the battle was won.

Dr. Abdallah requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval. He looked at it, and then wrote something on the edge and the bill was sent to her room. She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all. Finally she looked, and something caught her attention on the side of the bill. She read these words ...

"Paid in full with one glass of milk"

(Signed) Dr. Abdallah Ahmad.

Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed: "Thank You, God, that your love has spread broad through human hearts and hands."

There's a saying which goes something like this: Bread cast on the waters comes back to you. The good deed you do today may benefit you or someone you love at the least expected time.  If you never see the deed again at least you will have made the world a better place - And, after all, isn't that what life is all about?

Now you have two choices.

1. You can send this page on and spread a positive message.

2. Or ignore it and pretend it never touched your heart.

Subhana'Allah

House of Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him)

This is the approximate area, outside the place of Sa’ee where the house of Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) was located. Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) was a paternal uncle of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) and protected him while he was in Makkah.
Abbas ibn Abdul Muttalib was about three years older than his nephew. A wealthy merchant, during the early years of Islam he protected the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) while he was in Makkah, but only became a convert after the Battle of Badr in 624 CE (2 AH). His descendants founded the Abbassid caliphate in 750 CE.
In spite of his noble standing among the Quraysh, Abu Talib, another uncle of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him), was quite poor. He had a large family and did not have enough means to support them adequately. His poverty-stricken situation became much worse when a severe drought hit the Arabian peninsula. It was during this time of drought, before his call to prophethood, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said to his uncle, Abbas: “Your brother, Abu Talib, has a large family. People as you see have been afflicted by this severe drought and are facing starvation. Let us go to Abu Talib and take over responsibility for some of his family. I will take one of his sons and you can taken another and we will look after them.”Abbas approved and together they went to Abu Talib and said to him: “We want to ease some of the burden of your family until such time as this distressing period has gone.”Abu Talib agreed and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) took Ali into his household and Abbas took Jafar into his. Jafar stayed with his uncle, Abbas, until he was a young man.
Abbas was one of the youngest brothers of the Prophet’s (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) father Abdullah. During the early years while Islam was gaining adherents, Abbas provided protection to his kinsman but did not adopt the faith.
He was captured during the Battle of Badr and accepted Islam just before the fall of Makkah, 20 years after his wife, Umm al-Fadl. Umm al-Fadl (may Allah be pleased with her), whose real name was Lubaba bint al-Harith, was one of the earliest converts to Islam and was a close friend of Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her), the first wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him).
Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) was given the right to provide Zamzam water to pilgrims, the rights of which was passed down to his descendants. He is buried at the Jannatul Baqi cemetery in Madinah.
The house of Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was close to the house of Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him).

Bab ul-Fatah

This gateway to the Ka’bah is known as Bab-ul-Fatah (Door of Victory). It was from here that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) entered during the conquest of Makkah on Friday, 20 Ramadhan 8 A.H.
When the army of Muslims came towards Makkah, they first halted at Dhu Tuwa, not far from the city but within sight of it. When his camel Qaswa came to a halt, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) bowed his head until his beard almost touched the saddle, in gratitude to Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He).
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) then drew up his troops to enter Makkah. Khalid bin Waleed (may Allah be pleased with him) took command of the right and entered from the lower part of Makkah. Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) took command of the left wing and entered from the upper part of Kada. The centre part of the army was divided into two; half of it was led by Sa’d bin Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) and his son, and the other half, in which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) himself rode, was led by Abu Ubaidah bin Jarrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who commanded the infantry. The sheer surprise of the attack stunned the Quraysh and very little resistance was put up against the Muslims.
It is reported that Ali, the grandson of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) through his daughter Zainab (may Allah be pleased with him), sat with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) on the camel’s back during the triumphal entry into Makkah.
A red leather tent was pitched for the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) in which he made wudhu (ablution) and performed eight rakahs of nafl salah, after which he rested for an hour or more. Then he called for Qaswa, and having put on his coat of mail and his helmet, he gird on his sword; but in his hand he carried a staff, and his visor was up. Some of those who had ridden with him that morning were already in line outside the tent, and they made an escort for him as he went to the Haram, talking to Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), who was at his side.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) went to the Ka’bah and performed tawaf. Around the Ka’bah were three hundred and sixty idols. With a stick he was carrying he pushed them over, saying: “The truth has come and falsehood has vanished away. Falsehood is ever vanishing”[Quran 17:81]
“The truth has come and falsehood originates not nor brings again”[Quran 34:49]
After performing the circle the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) dismounted from his camel and prayed at the Maqame Ebrahim, then drank from the well of Zamzam. He then asked for the keys to the Ka’bah and went inside for a while. By the time he came out the Quraysh had filled the Haram, awaiting anxiously to see what he would do next.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) stood at the door of the Ka’bah, holding its frame and spoke at length to his former persecutors humbled before him, explaining several laws of Islam and abolishing all pagan practices. Then he asked them, “Men of the Quraysh! What do you think I will do to you?”. They said, “We hope for the best. You are a noble brother and the son of a noble brother!”. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) replied, “I say to you what Yusuf said to his brothers, ‘No reproach shall be on you this day.’ Go on your way, you are free.”
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) ordered Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) to climb up on the roof of the Ka’bah and give the athan (it is narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) himself offered his shoulder for Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) to climb from). It was the first time the leaders of the Quraysh had heard the word of Allah rising up; the valley of Makkah reverberated with the sound.
Many eminent members of Quraysh, former bitter enemies, came into the fold of Islam on this day including Abu Sufyan and his wife Hind who had during the battle of Uhud chewed the liver of Hamza (may Allah be pleased with him).

THE PROPHET IS OCCUPIED WITH HOUSEWORK

After the death of the prophet (PBUH), His wife and the mother of all believers, Hz. Aisha was asked the following question:

“How was the Apostle of Allah (SWT) at home?”

Hz. Aisha (RA) answered:

“He was happy to do his work himself. Though his friends were ready to do his works, he did not want them to do them. While at home, he mended his clothes, swept the house, milked the goats, tethered the camels and fed them. Moreover, He mended his shoes and leaking waterskins, helped the servants and kneaded dough with them. He carried the food from the market himself, and when someone said, “O, Apostle of Allah! Let me carry them.”

He replied; “Every believer should carry his own load himself if he can.” (1)

"Her mümin, taşıyabiliyorsa kendi yükünü kendi taşısın." derdi.[1]

House of Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her)

This is the approximate region, outside the Marwah exit, where the house of Ummul Mu’mineen Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) was located. It was here that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) lived from the time of his marriage to her until he emigrated to Madinah.
When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) married Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her), he moved out from the house of his uncle Abu Talib and into the house of his bride. At the time of their marriage he (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) was 25 and Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) was 40 years old. They stayed together for 25 years.
Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) was the Prophet’s (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) first wife, he married none other during her lifetime. She bore all his children except for Ebrahim, who was born to Mariya Qibtiya (Mary the Copt). All of the children were born at her home. They were named (in order of birth) Qasim, Zaynab, Ruqayyah, Umm Kulthoom, Fatima, Abdullah, and Ebrahim (scholars, however, disagree about the exact number and order of births). All the sons passed away during childhood, but all the daughters lived to see their father become a prophet. Each daughter embraced Islam and migrated to Madinah, and all but Fatima (may Allah be pleased with her) died during the lifetime of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him). Fatima (may Allah be pleased with her) died six months after her father’s death.
As well as their immediate family, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) and Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) also had extended members of their household. Barakah (who later became more commonly known as Umm Ayman), was the freed African slave the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) inherited from his father and whom he would sometimes affectionately address as ‘mother’. Zaid bin Haritha was a slave boy given as a bridal gift to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) by Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her); he was set free by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) but Zaid chose to stay with him and became an adopted son. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) also took his cousin Ali into his household on account of the financial hardships his uncle Abu Talib was experiencing.
When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) received the first revelation of the Quran on Mount Hira he came back home and said to Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her), “Wrap me up, wrap me up.”Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) wrapped him up in a blanket. When he (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) regained peace of mind after a short while, he related to Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) what had happened to him with the remark, “I feel my life threatened.”Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) replied, “By no means, I swear to Allah that He would never put you to shame. You join the ties of relationship, you speak the truth, you bear people’s burdens, you help the destitute, you entertain guests and you mitigate the pains and grief suffered for the sake of truth.”She unhesitatingly believed in him, and accepted Islam immediately.
The boycott of the Muslims in She’eb Abi Talib took a heavy toll on the health of Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her), and shortly after it was ended she passed away. She was the Prophet’s trusted advisor and loyal companion, and was known by the title ‘Mother of the believers’. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) once said of Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her), “When no one believed me, she believed in me, when people accused me of lying, she affirmed my truthfulness, and when people tried to impoverish me, she made me a partner in her wealth.”
When the idolaters of Makkah plotted to assassinate the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) they surrounded his house at night. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) was inside along with Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) told Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) to sleep in his bed and cover himself with his green garment and assured him full security under Allah’s protection and that no harm would come to him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) then came out of his house and cast a handful of dust on the assassins and managed to work his way through them reciting these verses of the Quran: “And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see.”[36:9]
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) made his way to the house of Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) from where they set off on the Hijrah to Madinah. Unaware of the Prophet’s escape, the would-be assassins waited for him to come out of his house. Only at dawn when Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) awoke and came out did they realize that they had been tricked. They interrogated him about the Prophet’s whereabouts, but he pleaded ignorance. They then dragged him to the Ka’bah and kept him captive there, but he divulged nothing.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) stayed in the house of Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) for around 29 years.
Please note that the location shown above is only an approximation and it is highly unlikely that the house existed at the same ground level.

The House of Sayyida Khadija was rediscovered during the Haram extensions in 1989, then hurriedly covered over so as to obliterate any trace. This was the house where the Prophet Muhammad (saw) received some of his first revelations and it is also where his children Umm Kulthum, Ruqqaya, Fatima, Zaynab, Qasim and ‘Abdullah were born. The House of Sayyida Khadija was located just outside Safa and Marwa and which now falls under the paved area. Above it, the Wahhabi hardliners have built public toilets(Naudhubillah). Daarul Arqam

This area, at the foot of Mount Safa was the approximate area where Daarul Arqam (The house of Arqam) was located. It was here in the initial period of Islam that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) secretly preached Islam.
The house belonged to a Sahabi named Arqam bin Abu Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him). For some time after the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) proclaimed his Prophethood, this house was the secret centre of propagation. It was here that the Muslims gathered to perform salat and to learn about Islam. As it was a short walk away from the Ka’bah and its bustling crowds, the pagans who lived nearby did not take notice of the many people who used to gather here.
Daarul Arqam was also known as Daarul Khaizaraan. It was here that the following verse from Surah al-Anfal was revealed: “O Prophet, Allah is sufficient for you, and for those who follow you among the believers.”[8:64]
When Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) wanted to take his Shahadah (declaration of the faith of Islam) he asked Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him) where he would find the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him). Upon hearing of his desire to accept Islam, Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him) exclaimed,“Umar, I have hope that Allah hath chosen thee through the prayers of His Prophet, whom yesterday I heard pray: ‘O Allah, strengthen Islam with Abu Hakam (Abu Jahal) the son of Hisham or with Umar the son of Khattab!”. “O Khabbab,”said Umar, “where will Muhammad now be, that I may go to him and enter Islam?”Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him) told him that he was at the house of Arqam near the Safa Gate with many of his companions.
Umar went to Safa, knocked at the door of the house, and said who he was. The Sahabah had been warned that he was coming but they were struck by the subdued tone of his voice. One of the companions went to the door and looked through a chink and came back in some dismay. “O Messenger of Allah”he said, “it is indeed Umar and he is girt with his sword”. “Let him come in,”said Hamza (may Allah be pleased with him). “if he has come with good intent, we will give him a wealth of good; and if his intent be evil, we will slay him with his own sword.”The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) agreed that he should be admitted and, advancing to meet him, he seized him by the belt and pulled him into the middle of the room saying, “What has brought thee here, O son of Khattab? I cannot see thee desisting until Allah sent down some calamities upon thee”. “O Messenger of Allah,”said Umar, “I have come to thee that I may declare my faith in Allah, and in his Messenger and in what he has brought from Allah”. “Allahu-Akbar!,”said the Prophet, in such a way that every man and woman in the house knew that Umar had entered Islam; and they all rejoiced.
Because the valour and courage of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was acknowledged by all, it was after his conversion to Islam that the Muslims started performing salah in the open and Islam was propagated in public.

How Delicious Is Your Salah (Prayer)?!!

All praises & thanks be to ALLAH ( ﺳﺒﺤﺎﻧﻪ ﻭﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ ).
As'Salaamu Alaikum Warahmatullaahi Wabarakaatuh,
There is nothing more important in life than our 5 daily obligatory
Salah. Performing our salah regularly and on time is what certify us as
Muslims and salah is the difference between us and non Muslims and
Let's face the reality, when we are sick, even delicious food doesn't
taste good. Why?
Because we are sick, there is something wrong with us... There is
nothing wrong with the food isn't it?
The pleasure of salah is the same, We don't taste the sweetness of
salah because we have diseased souls that are preventing us from
experiencing the amazing pleasure of salah... One of the priorities of
Shaitan (evil) is to help us feel lazy in our obedience to ALLAH ( ﺳﺒﺤﺎﻧﻪ
ﻭﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ ) and help us love sinning as we see today everyday everywhere.
Many freely walk with their haraam relationship partners as if we don't
know ALLAH ( ﺳﺒﺤﺎﻧﻪ ﻭﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ ) has warned us against it... We've lost the
fear of ALLAH ( ﺳﺒﺤﺎﻧﻪ ﻭﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ ) in our heart... We easily say Innaalillahi wa
innaa ilaihi raajiuun when someone dies or calamities hit someone but
we don't fear one day same will be recited on hearing our death.
How prepared are we? Every single second someone dies but we fail
to ask when will it be ours.
Astaghfirullah Rabbi wa Atuubu Ilayh.
And ALLAH ( ﺳﺒﺤﺎﻧﻪ ﻭﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ ) knows best.
We ask ALLAH ( ﺳﺒﺤﺎﻧﻪ ﻭﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ ) to have mercy on our lack of emaan
(faith), forgive our sins and protect us from any satanic influences.
Allah Humma Aameen.

House of Umme Hani (may Allah be pleased with her)

This area, on the side of the Bab-e-Abdul Aziz gate is believed to have been the location of the house of Umme Hani (may Allah be pleased with her), the cousin of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) and the daughter of Abu Talib. It was from here that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) was summoned by Jibraeel (upon him be peace) and taken to Bayt Al-Maqdis in Jerusalem. This incident is known as ‘al-Isra’ (the night journey) and occurred around 621 CE.
The event of the night journey to Jerusalem is mentioned in Surah al-Isra (also known as Surah Bani-Israeel) in the Quran:“Glory be to the One who took His Slave for a journey by night from the Sacred Mosque to the furthest Mosque, whose precincts we have blessed. “[17:1]
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) had prayed the evening prayers with Umm Hani and her family, then they all went to sleep. At dawn he said to them,“I prayed the evening prayers with you in this valley, then I went to Jerusalem where I prayed, and here I am praying the dawn prayers with you.”“Messenger of Allah,”said Umm Hani, “do not tell people this lest they reject and injure you.”. “Indeed I shall tell,”said the Prophet.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) went to the Ka’bah where he began to recount his miraculous journey and ascension to heaven. The Makkan pagans, of course, ridiculed his claim. Some ran to Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and told him the story, thinking that it would shake his faith in the Prophet. “If he said so,”Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “it must be true.”Abu Bakr’s answer as to why he believed is inspiring to all generations of Muslims. Since he had believed Prophet was indeed a prophet, one to whom an angel brought revelations from Allah, Lord of the worlds, why should he not also believe the Prophet’s account of his travel through space and time? From that day onwards, Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) was called ‘Siddeeq’, one who believes.
In an attempt to prove that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) was lying, those Makkans who were familiar with Jerusalem and the Sacred Mosque (al-Aqsa) quizzed him about his journey. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) described everything in detail, and no one could fault his description. Additionally, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) told the Makkans about a caravan travelling from Jerusalem to Makkah, mentioning the number of camels, their condition, and the time that they would arrive in Makkah. The caravan from Jerusalem appeared exactly when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said it would, and everyone saw that his description was accurate. But the pagans remained fettered to their disbelief.
Some scholars are of the opinion that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) went to sleep at night in the house of Umme Hani (may Allah be pleased with her), then rose after a brief while and went to the Ka’bah, for he loved to visit it during the night hours. While he was there, the desire to sleep came over him again and he lay down in the Hijr. It was from here that Jibraeel (upon him be peace) awoke him.
Umme Hani’s real name was Fakhita. She grew up with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him).

Some sicknesses and calamities maybe blessings for us as believers

. If you have been sick and suffering as a Muslim,
sure it is not easy. But know in your mind and
believe in your heart that it is indeed better for you.
For, if you bear patiently, it will be a means of
expiation for your sins and a source of great
reward if not here on earth then Paradise await us in shaa Allah. The Prophet (sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa
Sallam) said: 'There is nothing that befalls a believer,
not even a thorn that pricks him, but Allah will
record one good deed for him and will remove one
bad deed from their sins.' (By Imam Muslim). If Allah took away a dear, loved one from your life,
believe, from the bottom of your heart, that surely
this was better for you bcs nothing happens to a
believer except as a way of purifying us towards
Paradise. As Allah says in Quran, Our Children and
Partners may all be trials on us so if you loose a trial isn't it good for you? May Allah grant us more
wisdom to understand His trials on us. Aameen Yaa
Dhul_Jalal-Wal-ikram !!!

Safa/Marwah

Safa and Marwah are the two mountains between which Hajra (upon her be peace) rushed seven times to see if she could spot any water or anyone from whom she could get some in order to give to her infant Ismail (upon him be peace). This action is copied by all pilgrims performing Hajj or Umrah and is known as Sa’ee. The strip of ground between Safa and Marwah is referred to as the Mas’aa.
Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) makes mention of the Safa and Marwah mountains in the Quran in Surah Baqarah: “Verily Safa and Marwah are among the landmarks (distinctive signs) of (the Deen of) Allah.”[2:158]
When Hajra (upon her be peace) was passing through the valley between Safa and Marwah in her search for water she kept her eye on her baby son, Ismail (upon him be peace). However, for part of the valley he was hidden from view and she ran this length. It is in emulation of this action that men are required to rush through the same section of the Mas’aa. The area where she ran is today clearly demarcated by green lighting.
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) climbed up Mount Safa when Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) revealed the verse in Surah Shu’ara: “And warn your tribe (O Muhammad) of near kindred.”[26:214]
After ascending the Safa mountain he shouted: “Ya Sabahah!”(an Arabic expression when one appeals for help or draws the attention of others to some danger). When the people of Makkah had gathered around him the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said to them, “If I told you that horsemen were advancing to attack you from the valley on the other side of this mountain, will you believe me?”. “Yes”, they replied, “We have always found you truthful.” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said, “I am a plain warner to you of a coming severe punishment.”After this vivid analogy the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) asked them to save themselves by declaring that Allah was one and that he, Muhammad, was his messenger. He tried to make them understand that if they clung to polytheism and rejected the message he had brought to them, they would face Allah’s punishment. Abu Lahab (his uncle) said, “May you perish! You gathered us only for this reason? “Then Abu Lahab went away. Upon this ‘Surah al-Lahab’ (Perish the hands of Abu Lahab!) was revealed.
After conquering Makkah, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) went to the Hajar al-Aswad and then started performing Tawaaf. After completing the Tawaf, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) climbed Mount Safa, faced towards the Ka’bah and after praising Allah, he started making du’aa. It was from here that he announced (to the local Makkans), “Whoever enters the house of Abu Sufyaan has amnesty and whoever closes the door of his house has amnesty.”
Abu Sufyaan’s (may Allah be pleased with him) house was situated close to Marwah.

How strange is man?

He knows this world belongs to his Lord; Who deems it as worthless. Yet he continues to value it much more and chase after it even though he has no share in it.

Don't let this life deceive you!

"Verily, the next life is better for you than this life." [Qur'an, 93:4]

Mataf

The Mataf refers to the open white area immediately around the Ka’bah where tawaf takes place.
With reference to it, Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) mentions in the Quran:
“We commanded Ebrahim (upon him be peace) and Ismail (upon him be peace) (saying), “Clean (remove idols from) My house (the Ka’bah) for those who perform Tawaf, those who stay in it, those who bow (in Ruku) and those who prostrate” (referring to those who perform salah there).”[Surah Baqarah, verse 125]
Abdullah bin Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) was the first to cement this area. It’s width then was approximately 5m and since then it has been expanded from time to time. It was in the year 1375 A.H. that it was extended from 40m to 50m in a circular shape. In the interests of the people performing Hajj and Umrah, the pulpit, the platform used for Adhaan and some pathways were removed from the Mataf. Even the Zamzam well was moved down to the basement so that Tawaaf could be performed above it. The buildings in the Mataf and the dome of the Maqaam Ebrahim were also demolished so that the Mataf could accommodate even more people. Towards the end of the expansion, a rare quality of marble was used to pave the Mataf that does not heat up even in the intense heat, thus making it possible for people to perform Tawaf barefoot even on the hottest days.

Are you in love ?

You think these haram relationships are so awesome eh?! This is mainly for the people who kinda just, recently shot a text, Email &  somebody just texted em back, & a little facebook thing happened; a lil wink & smile in the playground or in the class at school or college or work; even though it's separate, just in the recess or break time you saw each other & this silly things happened. All of this is a product of low self-esteem.You(girls/women) think you're ugly or whatever & so if a guy thinks you're cute, you go at him like "wow, really, I'm cute?!" You think nobody is gonna like you, nobody's gonna marry you & all that stuff. On the other hand them guys, just because you have raging hormones & your day dreaming about girls, & things like that; it doesn't mean that you're in love.It just means that you haven't controlled your temptations yet‼️& you're ruining somebody's life & their entire family❗️Do you realize what you're doing❓ & you call it love❓❓you tell me( it's for both brothers& sisters) if he/she you like was like 50lbs fatter, would you still be in love❓Because he/she is the same person, has same ruh inside her body, if he/she was a burnt victim or something, if his/her hand burnt off, If her/his leg was missing, would you still be in love? Or you find somebody else to love, all of a sudden. & if you can't answer that question, then honestly, come on you're not in love, you're just hormonal.Thats all you are. This is what we have done to relationships, that are supposed to be beautiful.Marriage is suppose to be beautiful relationships. Its suppose to be lifelong relationship. But because you're watching all of these models on TV & stupid plastic actress/actor or whatever them filthy females/males you watch women that are just throwing themselves at men & all that stuff & you've developed this delusional concept of what it means to have love in your life! Our deen came to free the world from this nonsense, cuz we have more mature understanding of what it means to have love in your life.I'm not saying you shouldn't marry someone you like.you should! You should be attracted to future spouse!!

Zamzam Well

The photo shows the source of the Zamzam water within its well. The Zamzam well has provided some 4000 years of almost continuous water supply, a living miracle.
Ebrahim (upon him be peace) took his son Ismail (upon him be peace) and the child’s mother Hajrah (upon her be peace) to Makkah where he left them with only some water and dates as provisions. Once the provisions ran out, mother and son became thirsty and restless. Hajrah (upon her be peace) climbed up Mount Safa to see whether she could sight any people from whom she could get water. When she saw nothing, she crossed the valley and then climbed up Mount Marwah for the same reason. When she saw nothing here either, she started running from Safa to Marwah and back again in her anxiety. When she had done so seven times and was atop Mount Marwah, she heard a sound. When she returned (to where her son lay), she saw that an angel had struck his wing on the ground, causing water to gush forth from the spot. The name of the well comes from the phrase ‘Zome Zome’, meaning ‘stop flowing’, a command repeated by Hajra (upon her be peace) during her attempt to contain the spring water.
When the Jurhum tribe from Yemen arrived in Makkah some time afterwards, they settled there and Ismail (upon him be peace) married one of them. It was the children of Ismail. (upon him be peace) who had the honour of looking after the Ka’bah and after them the Jurhum tribe assumed responsibility. However, once these people started violating the sanctity of the place, the Zamzam well dried up as a form of punishment for them and eventually no sign was left of it. For centuries, people did not even know where it was located. The well was rediscovered by Abdul Muttalib, the grandfather of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him).
When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) was a young boy and playing with other children near Haleemah As-Sadiyah’s house, Jibraeel (upon him be peace) appeared and made him lie down. He then opened up the boy’s chest, took out his heart and extracted a lump of flesh from it, saying: “This is the portion of Shaitan in you”. Then he put his heart in a golden tray filled with Zamzam water, washed it and replaced it in his chest. Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) later said that he saw the scar on the Prophet’s chest where it had been sewn back together.
There is healing power in Zamzam. Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said, “The best water on the face of the earth is the water of Zamzam. In it is complete nourishment and healing from sickness.”[At-Tabarani]
Jaabir (may Allah be pleased with him) says, “I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) say: ‘Zamzam is a cure for any purpose for which it is drunk’.”Another Hadith states, “If you drink it to quench a thirst, it will do so, and if you drink it to fill the stomach in place of food, it will do so, and if you drink it for a cure from some illness, it will do so.”[It-Haaf]
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) drank Zamzam he said the following prayer: “O Allah, grant me beneficial knowledge, abundant sustenance and a cure from all diseases.”
The Bible makes a reference of the miracle of Zamzam when it talks about the passing through of Ismail (upon him be peace) and his mother through the valley: “Blessed is the man whose strength is in Thee; in whose heart are the ways of them who passing through the valley of Bacca make it a well.”[Psalm 84:5-6. Note that the Quran also refers to Makkah as Bakkah]
The Zamzam well is approximately 30m deep. Up until 1953 water was drawn by bucket, electric pumps now pump water into tanks.

Maqame Ebrahim

The Maqame Ebrahim refers to the stone on which Ebrahim (upon him be peace) stood on while he was building the Ka’bah. As Ismail (upon him be peace) passed stones to Ebrahim (upon him be peace), and as Ebrahim (upon him be peace) continued laying them in place the Maqame Ebrahim miraculously continued rising higher and higher as the walls rose. Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) caused the trace of his footprints to remain on the stone as a reminder to the believers among his descendants.
It has been reported from Sa’eed bin Jubair (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said: “The stone is the station of Ebrahim. Allah made it soft and made it a mercy. Ebrahim would stand on it and Ismail would hand the stones up to him.”[Muthir Al-Gharam]
Ebrahim and Ismail (upon them be peace) used to mention the following Quranic verse as they were constructing the Holy Ka’bah,“Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us: for you are the All-Hearing, The All-Knowing.”[2:127]
Ebrahim (upon him be peace) constructed the Ka’bah using rocks from five mountains; Hira, Thubayr, Labnaan, Toor and Jabalul Khayr. Toor Seena (Mount Sinai) is actually situated in the eastern desert of Egypt.
When Ebrahim (upon him be peace) completed the construction of the Ka’bah he was commanded by Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He): “And proclaim to mankind the Hajj (pilgrimage). They will come to you on foot and on every lean camel, they will come from every deep and distant (wide) mountain highway (to perform Hajj).” [22:27] Ibn Kathir says in his commentary that this verse means: ‘Proclaim (O Ebrahim) the Hajj to the people, calling them to come on pilgrimage to this House which We have commanded you to build’. It was mentioned that he said, “O Lord, how can I proclaim it to the people when my voice does not reach them?” He said, “Call and We will convey it.” So he stood at his Maqam (station) – or according to some narrations on al-Safa, or on mount Abu Qubays – and said: “O people, your Lord has taken a House, so come to it on pilgrimage.” And it was said that the mountains lowered themselves so that his voice could reach all parts of the earth and those who were still in the wombs or in men’s loins also heard, and everything that heard him, cities, nomad encampments and trees, and everyone whom Allah has decreed should perform Hajj until the Day of Resurrection responded (saying) “Labbayk Allahumma labbayk (Here I am, O Allah, here I am)”. This is the summary of what was narrated from Ibn Abbas, Mujahid, ‘Ikrimah, Saeed ibn Jubayr and others (may Allah be pleased with them).
Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) fulfilled three wishes that he had. One of these was his proposal to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) that the Maqame Ebrahim should be made a place for performing salah (prayer). Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) revealed the following verse in the Quran in Surah al-Baqarah: “Take the Maqam of Ebrahim as a place of salah (a place behind which you perform two rakahs of salah after Tawaf)” [2:125]
At the time of Ebrahim (upon him be peace) the Maqam was attached to the Ka’bah. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), seeing that leaving it where it was would make the space too crowded for Tawaf or for prayers had it moved to the place it is in now to make it easier for people. There was consensus among the Sahabah for this action of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), for he was the one who had suggested it should be taken as a place of prayer.
Juhm bin Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him), a Sahabi who was present when the Quraysh rebuilt the Ka’bah as well as when Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) rebuilt it says that the blessed footprints of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) very closely matches those of Ebrahim (upon him be peace). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) also mentioned: “From all the children of Ebrahim (upon him be peace) it is I who resembles him the most.” [Bukhari]
Although the Arabs worshipped stones during the Period of Ignorance, no one ever worshipped the Hajar al-Aswad or the Maqame Ebrahim even though the Arabs revered them. It appears that it was Allah’s explicit intention to protect the Maqame Ebrahim from Shirk and all types of worship.
Note that the significance of the Maqame Ebrahim is that it is a place for the performance of salah and not for touching or kissing. When there are lots of people performing tawaf it is better to perform salah some distance away from the Maqame Ebrahim to avoid causing unnecessary inconvenience to others.
