A Touching Story

A boy was born to a couple after eleven years
of marriage. They were a loving couple and the
boy was the apple of their eyes. When the boy
was around two years old, one morning the
husband saw a medicine bottle open. He was
late for work so he asked the wife to cap the
bottle and keep it in the cupboard. The
mother, preoccupied in the kitchen, totally
forgot the matter.
The boy saw the bottle and playfully went to
the bottle and, fascinated with its color, drank
it all. It happened to be a poisonous medicine
meant for adults in small dosages. When the
child collapsed, the mother hurried him to the
hospital, where he died. The mother was
stunned. She was terrified how to face her
husband.
When the distraught father came to the
hospital and saw the dead child, he looked at
his wife and uttered just four words.
What do you think were the four words?
The husband just said "I Love You Darling"
The husband's totally unexpected reaction is
proactive behavior. The child is dead. He can
never be brought back to life. There is no
point in finding fault with the mother. Besides,
if only he have taken time to keep the bottle
away, this will not have happened. No
point in attaching blame. She had also lost her
only child. What she needed at that moment
was consolation and sympathy from the
husband. That is what he gave her.
Sometimes we spend time asking who is
responsible or who to blame, whether in a
relationship, in a job or with the people we
know. We miss out some warmth in human
relationship in giving each other support. After
all, shouldn't forgiving someone we love be the
easiest thing in the world to do? Treasure what
you have. Don't multiply pain, anguish and
suffering by holding on to forgiveness.
If everyone can look at life with this kind of
perspective, there would be much fewer
problems in the world.
Take off all your envies, jealousies,
unwillingness to forgive, selfishness, and fears
and you will find things are actually not as
difficult as you think...!!!
Alhamdulillah

Devil gift ?

long time ago in Zimbabwe there was
A very poor woman with a small family called-in to a radio station asking for help from Allah. A non-believer man who was also listening to this radio program decided to make fun of the woman. He got her address, called his secretary and ordered her to buy a large amount of foodstuffs and take to the woman. However, he sent it with the following instruction: "When the woman asks who sent the food, tell her that its from the devil.'' When the secretary arrived at the woman's house, the woman was so happy and grateful for the help that had been received. She started putting the food inside her small house. The Secretary then asked her, ''Don't you want to know who sent the food?'' The woman replied, ''No, I don't even care because when Allah orders, even the devil obeys!

my dear brothers and sisters God is greatest than any other thing we can imagine here on earth Allahu Akbarr

Selfie

The whole 'selfie' craze amongst Muslims has crossed some boundaries. Acts of 'ibadah are being publicised on social media, we've seen tarawih selfies, hajj selfies, iftar selfies - brothers and sisters do you realise the impact this is having on your relationship with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala?
Who are you trying to impress? Who is this act of worship for, the people? An act of ibadah should be for His sake alone, not for approval & flattering comments or likes. We've even witnessed people posing by raising their hands in du'aa purely for a photo then rushing to see the shot taken.
Renew your intentions, the most beautiful of deeds are those that are hidden & done sincerely for the pleasure of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala alone.

What is the meaning of Belief in the Book and the Messengers?

ANSWER:

It means that Allah sent the Messengers like Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad (saw) etc., and sent down the Books like the Torah, Zaboor (Psalms), Injeel, Qur'an etc.,  to call the people to worship Allah Alone, associating nothing with Him.

He sent Prophet Muhammad (saw) as the last of Messengers and Prophets and abrogated all the previous Books with the Qur'an.

Therefore the worship should be done according to the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (saw).

May bless us with total belief as Muslims... Ameen

Do you know why we tour around the Kaaba “Anticlockwise”?

Do you know why the Tawaf around the Kaaba
is “Anticlockwise”?
Modern Science has proved many things that
confirm the importance of Tawaaf around the
Kaaba “Anticlockwise.”
1) The Blood inside the human body begins its
circulation “Anticlockwise”
2) The electrons of an atom revolve around its
nucleus in the same manner as making Tawaf, in
an anti-clockwise direction.
Considering the globe as a whole, you will notice
that:
3) that the moon revolves around the earth
anti-clockwise.
4) The earth rotates around its own axis in an
anti-clockwise direction.
5) The earth revolves around the sun in an
anti-clockwise direction.
6) The planets of the Solar system revolve
around the sun in an anti-clockwise direction.
7)The Sun along with its whole Solar system
orbit in the galaxy in an anti-clockwise direction.
8)All the galaxies orbit in the space in an anti-
clockwise direction.
That is: When we revolve around the Kaaba
we are orbiting in the same direction as the
whole universe.
Worshipping Allah in one direction.
Praising Allah in one direction.
And all the creations of Allah from the tiniest
particles, to the largest galaxies, along with the
human race unite in praise of Allah.
When we tour around the Kaaba, we are
travelling in the land travelled by all the prophets
of Allah from the prophet Adam (PBUH) to the
prophet Mohamed (SAWS)
the Kaaba in Makkah is never free from
circumbulators. “Know that the world has come
to an end when no soul will circlembulate the
holy Kaaba.”
But you will never find in the way of Allah any
change, and you will never find in the way of
Allah any alteration
A Beautiful dua for thanking Allah for every
moment:'
Allah Humma inni ala zikrika wa Shukrika wa
husni ibadatika'Imagine how many people will
thank Allah if you forward

Is it permissible to slaughter chicken on the occasion of Eid ul Adha???

No it is not permissible

It should be one of the an’aam class of
animals, which are: camels, cattle, sheep
and goats, because

Allaah says
(interpretation of the meaning):

“And for every nation We have appointed
religious ceremonies, that they may mention
the Name of Allaah over the beast of cattle
that He has given them for food”
[Surah al-Hajj 22:34]

And Allahu A'alam

Fasting On The Day Of Arafat: Sins Forgiven For Two Years

It is one of the most important days in the
Islamic calendar. The virtues and blessings
of this day are immense. There is no other
day like it and millions of Muslims turn to
Allah on this day. It’s the Day of Arafat;
WEDNESDAY, 23RD SEPTEMBER 2015.
Many Muslims around the whole world will
be fasting this day, in search of
forgiveness and the Forgiveness and Mercy
of Allah is amazing. Fasting on this day is
expiation for two years of sin. So I
encourage all Muslims to fast on this day.
We are surely in need of much forgiveness
and how can we do without this amazing
day that Allah Has Given us?
VIRTUES OF THE DAY OF ARAFAT
It is the day on which the religion was
perfected and Allaah’s Favour was
completed.
In Al-Saheehayn it was reported from ‘Umar
ibn al-Khattaab (may Allaah be pleased
with him) that a Jewish man said to him,
“O Ameer al-Mu’mineen, there is an aayah
in your Book which you recite; if it had
come to us Jews, we would have taken that
day as an ‘Eid (festival).” ‘Umar said,
“Which aayah?” He said: “This day I have
perfected your religion for you, completed
My favour upon you, and have chosen for
you Islam as your religion.” [al-Maa’idah
5:3 – interpretation of the meaning]. ‘Umar
said, “We know on which day and in which
place that was revealed to the Prophet
(peace and blessings of Allaah be upon
him). It was when he was standing in
‘Arafaah on a Friday.”
It is a day by which Allaah swore an oath.
The Almighty cannot swear by anything
except that which is mighty. Yawm
‘Arafaah is the “witnessed day” mentioned
in the aayah (interpretation of the meaning):
“By the witnessing day [Friday] and by the
witnessed day [the Day of ‘Arafaah].” [al-
Burooj 85:3].
It was reported from Abu Hurayrah (may
Allaah be pleased with him) that the
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be
upon him) said: “The promised day is the
Day of Resurrection, the witnessed day is
the Day of ‘Arafaah, and the witnessing day
is Friday.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi and
classed as saheeh by al-Albaani.
It is the “odd” [i.e., odd-numbered, Witr] by
which Allaah swore in the aayah
(interpretation of the meaning):
“And by the even and the odd” [al-Fajr
89:3]. Ibn ‘Abbaas said: “The even is the
Day of al-Adhaa [i.e., 10th Dhoo’l-Hijjah]
and the odd is the Day of ‘Arafaah [i.e., 9th
Dhoo’l-Hijjah] This is also the view of
‘Ikrimah and al-Dahhaak.
Fasting on this day is an expiation for two
years.
It was reported from Abu Qutaadah (may
Allaah be pleased with him) that the
Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of
Allaah be upon him) was asked about
fasting on the Day of ‘Arafaah. He said, “It
expiates for the sins of the previous year
and of the coming year.” Narrated by
Muslim.
This (fasting) is mustahabb for those who
are not on Hajj. In the case of the one who
is on Hajj, it is not Sunnah for him to fast
on the Day of ‘Arafaah, because the Prophet
(peace and blessings of Allaah be upon
him) did not fast on this day in ‘Arafaah. It
was narrated that he forbade fasting on the
Day of ‘Arafaah in ‘Arafaah.
It is the day on which Allaah took the
covenant from the progeny of Adam.
It was reported that Ibn ‘Abbaas (may
Allaah be pleased with him) said: the
Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of
Allaah be upon him) said: “Allaah took the
covenant from the loins of Adam in
Na’maan, i.e., ‘Arafaah. He brought forth
from his loins all his offspring and spread
them before Him, then He addressed them,
and said: ‘Am I not your Lord? They said,
‘Yes, we testify,’ let you should say on the
Day of Resurrection: ‘Verily, we have been
unaware of this.’ Or lest you should say: ‘It
was only our fathers aforetime who took
others as partners in worship along with
Allaah, and we were (merely their)
descendents after them; will You then
destroy us because of the deeds of men
who practised Al-Baatil (i.e., ploytheism
and committing crimes and sins, invoking
and worshipping others besides Allaah)
?’ [al-A’raaf 7:172-173 – interpretation of
the meaning].” Narrated by Ahmad and
classed as saheeh by al-Albaani. And there
is no greater day than this and no greater
covenant than this.
It is the day of forgiveness of sins, freedom
from the Fire and pride in the people who
are there :
In Saheeh Muslim it was narrated from
‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her)
that the Prophet (peace and blessings of
Allaah be upon him) said: “There is no day
on which Allaah frees more people from the
Fire than the Day of ‘Arafaah. He comes
close and expresses His Pride to the angels,
saying, ‘What do these people want?’”
It was reported from Ibn ‘Umar that the
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be
upon him) said: “Allaah expresses His Pride
to His angels at the time of ‘Ishaa’ on the
Day of ‘Arafaah, about the people of
‘Arafaah. He says, ‘Look at My slaves who
have come unkempt and dusty.’” Narrated
by Ahmad and classed as saheeh by al-
Albaani.

Makkah crane victims to get 1m riyals each.

Manama: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud on Tuesday ordered that the families of those killed in Friday’s crane collapse at the Grand Mosque in Makkah each be paid one million riyals in compensation.

The families of those who suffered permanent injuries will also be paid one million riyals each, the king ordered.

Those who sustained less serious injuries will receive 500,000 riyals, according to the royal order.

The financial compensation does not rule out the possibility for the victims or their families to file lawsuits.

The injured worshippers who are physically unable to perform pilgrimage this year will be invited for next year’s pilgrimage as hosts of the king.

Relatives of those hospitalised will be given special visas to visit them and stay with them until the end of the pilgrimage season, which will end on September 28.

Two relatives of each victim will be hosted by King Salman to perform pilgrimage next year, according to the royal order.

The compensations are part of wide-ranging decisions issued at the conclusion of the investigation launched immediately after the collapse of the giant crane on Friday afternoon when the Grand Mosque was teeming with thousands of worshippers, and in which 107 were killed and 238 were injured.

“Astaghfirullah” “Astaghfirullah”…

☑Do you wish to get married?
✅Do you wish to have a baby?
✔Do you wish to get a job?
☑Do you wish to have more rizq?
✅Do you wish to get healthy and get cured?
✔Do you wish that all your problems go away?

I have the answer to all your wishes, if you are interested please keep reading……

A man came to Sheikh Abdul Aziz Ibn Baz رحمه الله  complaining that he wishes to have a child and that has been waiting for seven years but no luck……. Sheikh Ibn Baz answered him with one sentence, he said: Increase Istighfaar (Asking Allah for forgivness by saying AstaghfiruLLAH). After one year this man came back to Sheikh Ibn Baz and said: Ya Sheikh I got the child I wanted Alhamdulilah.

A man came to the famous Al Hassan Al Basri and said: The sky is not raining. Al Hassan said: IstaghfiriLLAH. Another man walked in and said to Al Hassan: I suffer from poverty. Al Hassan answered: IstaghfiriLLAH. Then another man walked in and said to Al Hassan: My wife does not bare children. Al Hassan said: IstaghfiriLLAH. The people who were present at the Majlis of Al Hassan said: how come every time someone comes to you with an issue you just say IstaghfiriLLAH!!!

Al Hassan answered: Didn’t you read the words of Allah when he says:

فَقُلْتُ اسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ غَفَّارًا (10) يُرْسِلِ السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِدْرَارًا (11) وَيُمْدِدْكُمْ بِأَمْوَالٍ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجْعَلْ لَكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ وَيَجْعَلْ لَكُمْ أَنْهَارًا﴾

Translation: And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver. He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers, And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers. 71:10-12

Allahu Akbar, all this is just in Dunia…..what about the Akherah!!? Isn’t it enough that Istighfaar protects the believer from the punishment….. Allah promised not to punish us for our mistakes in two conditions, the first: while the Prophet Mohammad peace be upon him is among us and we all know that chance is no longer valid. The second condition was seeking forgivness Allah says:

﴿وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَأَنْتَ فِيهِمْ وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ مُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَهُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ

Translation: But Allah would not punish them while you, [O Muhammad], are among them, and Allah would not punish them while they seek forgiveness 8:33
So this is a promise from the Lord of heavens and earths, what more do you need to start implementing this in your life?

The fourth Khalifa of Islam Ali Bin Abi Taleb may Allah be pleased with him said: It is surprising to see someone perish while he has the tool of survival, they said: what is it? He said: Al Istighfaar.

So never leave Istighfaar my dear brothers and sisters.

Imagine when you come on the Day of Judgment while you are terrified and everyone is so scared and you find mountains of hassanat waiting for you because of your Istighfaar….

Istighfar relieves you. When you feel that sadness within you, when you are disturbed and frustrated, when anxiety surrounds you, say “Astaghfirullah” “Astaghfirullah”…

Reciting Astaghfiruallah is an effective method of calming our self and wipes away the variety of worldly worries from our mind and body. It may also help us, if we are suffering from depression, it calm us and lessen our depression.
Not only that, listen to this hadith and rest assured that all your issues and problems will go away because of Istighfaar

Ibn Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said,
“If anyone constantly seeks pardon (from Allah), Allah will appoint for him a way out of every distress and a relief from every anxiety, and will provide sustenance for him from where he expects not.” [Abu Dawud]

The blessed days of Dhul- Hijjah

The blessed days of Dhul- Hijjah are coming next week. Do you know the value of these days? Do you know how much reward is waiting for you for your good deeds in these days?

Dont miss this opportunity!! Learn the virtues and Earn the rewards!!

Al-Bukhari narrated from Ibn Abbas (May Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (p.b.u.h.) said: "There are not any days in which righteous deeds done in them are more beloved to Allah than these days, i.e. the ten days (of Dhul-Hijjah). They said: O, Messenger of Allah, not even Jihad in the path of Allah? He said: Not even Jihad in the path of Allah Most High, except if a man goes out (for Jihad) with his self and his wealth, then he doesn't return with anything from that."

Imam Ahmad narrated from Ibn Umar (May Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) that he said: "There aren't any days greater, nor any days in which deeds done in them are more beloved to Allah Most High, than these ten days (of Dhul-Hijjah). So, increase in them the saying of Tahleel (Laa-ilaaha-ill-Allah), and Takbeer (Allahu-Akbar) and Tahmeed (al-hamdu-lillaah)."

Types of Deeds in These Ten Days:

First: The performance of Hajj and Umrah, and these are the best of deeds that may be done. And what indicates their superiority are a number of Hadiths, one of which is the saying of (The Prophet) (p.b.u.h.): "Performance of Umrah is an expiation of the sins committed between it and the previous Umrah, and the reward of the Hajj which is accepted by Allah Most High is nothing but Paradise." (Bukhari and Muslim).

Second: Fasting during these days as many of them as may be easy (for one to fast) - especially the Day of Arafah. There is no doubt that the act of fasting is one of the best deeds, and it is from what Allah, Most High has chosen for himself, as in the Hadith Qudsi: "Fasting is for Me, and it is I who give reward for it. Verily, someone gives up his sexual passion, his food and his drink for my sake..." (Bukhari, Muslim, Malik, Tirmidhi, Nasaa'ee and Ibn Majah).

Muslim narrated from Abu Qutaadah that the Prophet (p.b.u.h.) said: "Fasting the Day of Arafah will be credited with Allah by forgiving one's sins of the previous year and the following year."

Third: at-Takbeer (saying: Allahu-Akbar) and adh-Dhikr (remembrance of Allah, the Most High) in these (ten) days, because of the saying of Allah in Soorah al-Hajj verse 28: "...And mention the name of Allah on the appointed Days..."

Al-Bukhari mentioned about Ibn Umar and Abu Hurayrah (May Allah be pleased with them) that the two of them used to go out to the market place during the ten days (of Dhul-Hijjah) saying 'Allahu-Akbar', causing the people to also say it."

Ishaq narrates from the scholars of the Taabi'een that in these ten days they used to say: Allahu-Akbar, Allahu-Akbar; Laa-ilaaha-ill-Allah Wallaahu-Akbar, Allahu-Akbar; Wa-lillaahil-hamd.

Fourth: at-Tawbah (repentance) and abstaining from disobedience and all types of sins, since forgiveness and mercy are the results of deeds. Disobedience is the cause of being far away (from Allah, the Most High) and repulsion, while obedience is the cause of being near (to Allah, the Most High) and His love.

In the Hadith of Abu Hurayrah (May Allah be pleased with him), he said that the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) said:"Verily Allah has a sense of 'Ghayrah' (honor, prestige and anger over it's violation), and Allah's sense of Ghayrah is provoked when a person does that which Allah has made prohibited". (Bukhari and Muslim).

Fifth: Doing plenty of voluntary (Nafl) righteous deeds of worship like prayer, charity, Jihad, reciting Quran, commanding what is good and forbidding what is evil, and other deeds like this. Verily they are of those deeds which are multiplied in these days. Because, even those deeds which are less preferred, in these days are superior and more beloved to Allah than superior deeds done at other times - even the Jihad which is one of the most superior of all deeds, except in the case of one whose horse is killed and his blood is spilled (loss of life in Jihad).

Sixth: It is legislated in these days to make at-Takbeer al-Mutlaq (unrestricted to specific times or form i.e. Allah o Akbar) at all times of night and day until the time of the Eid Prayer.

Also, at-Takbeer al-Muqayyid (restricted to specific times and done in a particular manner i.e. Allahu-Akbar, Allahu-Akbar; Laa-ilaaha-ill-Allah Wallaahu-Akbar, Allahu-Akbar; Wa-lillaahil-hamd) is legislated, and it is done after the (five) obligatory prayers which are performed in congregation. This begins from Dawn (Fajr) on the Day of Arafah (the 9th of Dhul-Hijjah) for those not performing Hajj, and from Noon (Dhuhr) on the Day of Sacrifice (10th of Dhul-Hijjah) for those performing Hajj (pilgrims); and it continues until Asr prayer on the last day of the days of Tashreeq (13th of Dhul-Hijjah).

Seventh: The slaughtering of a sacrificial animal (Adhiyyah) is also legislated for the Day of Sacrifice (10th) and the Days of Tashreeq (11th, 12th and 13th). This is the Sunnah of our father Ibraheem (May Allah be pleased with him) - from when Allah, the Most High redeemed his son by the great sacrifice (of an animal in his place). It is authenticated that the Prophet (p.b.u.h.) slaughtered (sacrificed) two horned rams, black and white in color, and that he slaughtered them with his own hands, mentioned the name of Allah, the Most High (saying Bismillaah), said Takbeer (Allahu-Akbar), and placed his foot on their sides (while slaughtering them). (Bukhari and Muslim. Bukhari English translation - Dr. Muhsin Khan, Vol.2, Pg. 447-448 #770 and 772, 1979).

Eighth: Muslim and others narrated from Umm Salamah (May Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) said: "If you see the Hilaal (new moon) of Dhul-Hijjah, and any one of you wants to make a sacrifice, then he should not cut (anything) from his hair and his nails." and in one narration he said: "...then he should not take (cut) anything from his hair, nor from his nails, until he performs the sacrifice."

The apparent meaning of this prohibition is that it is particularly for the one whom the sacrifice is for, and does not include the wife or children, unless there is an individual sacrifice for one of them. There is no harm in washing the head, or scratching it, even if some hairs may fall out.

Ninth: It is incumbent for the Muslim (who is not making Hajj) to make every effort to perform the Eid Prayer wherever it is performed, and to be present for the Khutbah and benefit. He must know the wisdom behind the legislation of this Eid (celebration). It is a day of thankfulness and performing deeds of righteousness. So, he must not make it a day of wildness, pride and vanity. He should not make it a season of disobedience and increase in the forbidden things like music and singing, uncontrolled amusement, intoxicants and the like - those things which could cause the cancellation of the good deeds done in these ten days (of Dhul-Hijjah).

Tenth: After what has been mentioned, it is fitting that every Muslim, male and female, take advantage of these days by obeying Allah, the Most High, remembering Him, thanking Him, fulfilling all the obligatory duties, and staying far away from the prohibited things. He must take full advantage of this season, and the open display of Allah's gifts to attain the pleasure of his Lord.

May Allah give us taufeeq to do these good deeds and may He remove all our sins!!

Muzdalifah

This is a view of Muzdalifah, where Hajj pilgrims arrive after sunset from Arafat on the 9th Dhul Hijjah (second day of Hajj).
  • Muzdalifah stretches from the Valley of Muhassar to the mountains of Ma’zamayn. It is four kilometres long and covers an area of 12.25 square kilometers.
  • Referring to Muzalifah, Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) mentions in Surah Baqarah in the Quran:“When you leave Arafat, then remember Allah at the Mash’arul Haram.” (‘The Sacred Monument’, referring to Muzdalifah according to Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him))
  • During the farewell Hajj, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) performed the Maghrib and Isha salats together at Muzdalifah. He stayed at the spot where the present Masjid Mash’arul Haram currently is (towards the Qibla side). From there, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said:“Although I am staying here, you may stay anywhere throughout Muzdalifah.” [Muslim]
  • During Hajj It is waajib to perform Maghrib and Isha together in Muzdalifah at Isha time. Wuqoof (stay) of Muzdalifah is also waajib and it’s time begins from sub’h saadiq and ends at sunrise. If one spent even a little portion of their time in Muzdalifah, he/she will be absolved of this obligation. However, it is best to remain until just before sunrise.
  • Although pebbles for pelting the Jamarat may be collected from anywhere, they are best collected from Muzdalifah.
  • Muzdalifah is also called ‘Jam’ as it is a place where people gather.

Waadi Muhassar

Waadi Muhassar is a place between Mina and Muzdalifah; it is here that Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) destroyed Abraha and his army of elephants. This incident in mentioned in Surah Feel. It is sunnah for Hujjaj (pilgrims) to walk briskly pass this area as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) did as it was a place of punishment from Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He).
  • Abraha al-Ashram was the viceroy of Negus, the King of Abyssinia. He was a Christian who ruled over the Yemen, building an imposing cathedral in San’a of marble and gold plated wood and naming it ‘al-Qulays’. He intended to divert the Arab pilgrimage to San’a. As a Christian, he was jealous that the Ka’bah should be the place where pilgrims gathered and he wanted this position for his church.
  • In the meantime, a man from the Banu Kinana tribe entered the church and defecated in it. This threw Abraha into a towering rage and he made the fatal error of deciding to march with his army to the Ka’bah in order to demolish it.
  • He set out for Makkah with a strong force that included elephants. When the army reached Waadi Muhassar, the largest of the elephants, whose name was Mehmud, sat down and refused to move further. The more it was pulled towards the Ka’bah, the more it moved backwards Strangely enough, when it was turned in any other direction (away from the Ka’bah), it ran in that direction. It was while they were here that Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) sent little birds with pebbles in their beaks. As they flew over the army, the birds released their stones, which devastated the army, causing all they struck to fall down dead. Some of them collapsed just witnessing the sight and they then made off back to San’a. Abraha’s fate was much worse. As he proceeded back to Sa’na, his flesh started wasting away and rotting. By the time he reached San’a, his fingers had already fallen off and his body was no more than a skeleton. It was there that his heart eventually collapsed and he died. This incident took place shortly before the blessed birth of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him).
  • Referring to this episode, Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) says in Surah Feel:“Have you not seen how your Rabb dealt with the people of the elephants? Did He not lay their plans to waste and send against them flights of the birds who pelted them with clay pebbles, making them look (destroyed) like eaten fodder?” [105:1-5]
  • After this miraculous incident , the fame of the Ka’bah spread far and wide, and Arabs came from all parts of the peninsula to visit the Sacred House. It was the year 571 CE., it was of such importance to the Arabs that they called it ‘The Year of the Elephant’.
  • The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) was born 52-55 days after this event.

Masjid Biah/Uqbah

This Masjid, close to Mina, commemorates the spot where the Ansar of Madinah pledged their allegiance to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) in the year 621 CE. The group included leaders of the Aws and Khazraj tribes of Madinah and were twelve in number. The second such pledge called the second Aqabah pledge (Bay’ah Aqaba Thaaniya) took place the following year, the thirteenth year after the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) proclaimed his Prophethood.
  • The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) would make contact with various Arab tribes that came into Makkah for their festivals, trade fairs or pilgrimages and preach the truth of Islam to them. He would take the opportunity to call them towards worshipping only Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) and to believing in his Prophethood. His uncles Abu Jahl and Abu Lahab would often follow him, dissuading people from listening to his message. To avoid them, he would come out in the darkness of night to contact the caravans staying at a distance of several miles from the Ka’bah.
  • One night, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) heard some people talking at Aqabah. He came close and saw that they were six in number who had come from Yathrib (later to be known as Madinah) to perform pilgrimage at the Ka’bah. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) preached Islam to them and recited some verses of the Quran. They listened in awe and embraced Islam on the spot. They were neighbours of the Jews in Yathrib and had heard them mention of the coming of a great Prophet in the near future and about his dominance over all others. The six new Muslims promised that they would invite their people to Islam upon returning to Yathrib and that they would meet the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) again during the next pilgrimage.
  • The next year, five of the six returned to meet the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) again at Aqabah and they brought with them another seven converts. These twelve persons pledged their allegiance to Islam at the hand of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) and this became known as the ‘First pledge of Aqabah’. They pledged that they would not associate partners with Allah, commit theft, fornicate, kill their children, defame others, nor disobey the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) when he instructed them to do good.
  • The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) deputed Mus’ab bin Umair to go with them to teach Islam and preach to others. He remained busy all the time in teaching the Quran and other Islamic practices to the people. He stayed with As’ad bin Zararah (may Allah be pleased with him) and was known as Muqraee (the teacher). During this period many people from Yathrib embraced Islam.
  • The following year Mus’ab bin Umair (may Allah be pleased with him) set out from Yathrib for Makkah with a caravan of 72 men and two women which comprised of Muslims and pagans. The Muslims wanted to meet the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) and to invite him to come to Yathrib. They had been dismayed at the harassment, abuse and fear that overshadowed the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) and the other Muslims and had resolved to offer them their loyal protection if they moved there. A secret meeting with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) was arranged one late night at Aqabah.
  • The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) met them accompanied by his uncle Abbas who at that point was not a Muslim. He talked to the group, recited the Quran, prayed to Allah and encouraged people to embrace Islam. Then he said, “I ask for your allegiance on the basis that you protect me as you would protect your wives and children.” They pledged their allegiance to him and this became known as the ‘Second pledge of Aqabah’. They asked him to promise that he would not leave them and return to his people. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) gave his promise, “I am from you and you are from me. I will fight those you fight and will be at peace with those with whom you are at peace.” Twelve men were then chosen to be responsible for the affairs of the community, these included Sa’d bin Ubadah, Abdullah bin Rawahah and Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with them).
  • Shaitan was watching and listening from the top of Aqabah, and when he could contain himself no longer he cried out in the loudest voice possible and spoke the name Mudhammam (Reprobate). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) knew who it was and answered him saying, “O enemy of Allah. I will give thee no respite.”
  • The masjid was built by Abu Jafar al-Mansour in 144 AH. It has been renovated several times with the last one by Sultan Abdul Majeed Khan al-Othmani in 1250 AH.

SHE was pretty..

She spend half of her life ..

Plucking and waxing, moisturizing , dieting, exercising , brushing ,applying , removing , tucking this , hiding that , cleaning this washing that , buying this and buying that ....

Wearing clothes that hung gracefully to her shape , accessories to add taste , fake eyelashes here , fake extensions there , piercing this and tattooing that ...

"It was her body" she argued to those who criticized her.
Then came the day she died ..

She was locked in a box and the key was thrown away, her coffin left to lay amoungst the dirt, where her body will slowly disintegrate to nothing as the maggots ,feast on the skin she used to take so much care of !

" it's my body" she had argued..

No !!! It was NEVER ur body but it was given by Allah..
For if it was your body surely you'd have never left it behind.
" indeed we belong to Allah , and indeed to Him we will return " ( sura baqara : 156)

••Oh ya Allah !!! forgive all my sins .. Great and small sins , the first and the last sins , those that are apparent and those that are hidden ••

Ameen ya Rabb !!

When I Become a Big Boy

This is like the little boy who says when I become a big boy, I will do this and this and I will be happy. And when he becomes a big boy he says, when I finish college and do this and this and I will be happy. And when he finishes college he says when I get my first job and do this and this I will be happy. And when he gets his first job he says when I get married and do this and this and then I will be happy. And when he gets married he says when the kids get out of school and I do this and this I will be I happy. And when the kids get out of school, he says when I retire and do this and this, I will be happy. And when he retires what does he see? He sees life has just gone by in front of his eyes.

Please try not to be this Boy

Parents

A Poor Couple lived in a Small Village
in India.

They had only 1 Son.

They gave him the Best Education.

Son Graduated as an Engineer
in the nearby City.
⛺⛪
Eventually He got Married to a Rich Girl.

Initially, They Lived with His Parents
in the Village.

Soon the Wife got Tired of Village Life &
Persuaded Her Husband to Move to the City
Leaving His Old Parents in the Village.
⛪⛺
As Time went, the Husband saw
an Ad in the Newspaper about a
Job Vacancy in Jeddah.

He was Successful & Lived in Jeddah
for 20 Years with His Wife.

Regularly, He used to Send Money
to His Parents.

Eventually with Time, He Stopped & Forgot about His Parents whether
They ever Existed.

Every Year He would Perform Hajj &
Immediately after each Hajj,
He used to see Someone telling Him
in a Dream that his Hajj is not Accepted.
✈✈✈
One Day, He Related this Story to a
'Pious Aalim' who Advised Him
to go Back to India to Visit His Parents.

The Man Flew to India & Reached
the Boundary of His Village.

Everything was Changed over there.

He could not Find His House.

So He asked to the Head of the Village
about the Whereabouts of His Parents.

The Head of the Village directed Him
to a House & said:
"In this House, Lives an Old Blind Lady
who Lost Her Husband a Few Months Ago. She has a Son who Migrated to
Saudi Arabia 20 Years back &
Never came Back again.
What an Unfortunate Man."

Son enters that Home &
Finds His Mother on the Bed.

He Tip-Toed as He did not want to
Wake Her up.

He hears His Mother Whispering or Mumbling Something.

He gets Closer to Hear His Mothers Voice.

This is what His Mother was Saying:
"Ya Allah ! I am now Very Old & Blind.
My Husband just Died.
There is no Mahram to Lower Me
in My Grave when I Die.
So please Send My Son to Fullfill
My Last Wish".

This is the Ending of a Story
where the DUA of a Mother is Accepted.

A Human Body can Bear only
45 Del (units) of Pain.

But at the Time of Giving Birth,
A Mother feels upto 57 Del (units) of Pain.

This is similar to 20 Bones
getting Fractured, all at the Same Time.

This is just to tell U the extent,
to which a Mother Loves Her Child.

So, Love Ur Mom till the End of Ur Life.

The Lady with whom U Fight
almost Everyday, Suffered so much Pain
just to give U a Beautiful Life.

How many People will U Forward this to ?

I do not Mind, if I get this Mesage again.
I Passed it because I respect and admire my mother and every woman...

What stops us from (excuses for not) following the HIJAB ...

1⃣SOMEBODY SAYS IT IS NOT NECESSARY.
But Allah has clearly mentioned in many of the quran verses that hijab is obligatory.
2⃣PARENTS/SPOUSE WONT ALLOW TO WEAR HIJAB.
We must obey our parents/spouse certainly ,but if they make us disobey allah, then we shall disobey them coz we have to obey Allah (swt) more than all.
3⃣MY JOB DOESN’T ALLOW ME TO WORK WITH THE HIJAB.
Then look for some other jobs.If we sacrifice for the cause of allah, then certainly he will surely help us. Aameen.
4⃣MANY THINK WHAT IS INSIDE COUNTS THE MOST, MANY A TIMES, ONLY.
Inside as well as outside matters for Allah(swt). Hijab includes both. So follow completely what Allah has commanded.
5⃣IT IS SO HOT UNDER THE HIJAB.
May be dificult at times. But the heat of the Hell fire is obviously more intense.

6⃣TOO YOUNG TO WEAR HIJAB. WILL PRACTISE IT LATER.
The angel of death comes without considering the age and if he comes, then nobody can deny. So dont be late.
7⃣SOME SAY THERE ARE LADIES WEARING HIJAB, BUT ADMINISTERING BAD MANNERS. SO WE WONT BE LIKE THEM.
That doesnt mean anything wrong with hijab, It's wrong with people themselves. So follow allahs orders.
8⃣I CAN’T HIDE MY BEAUTY WITH THE HIJAB!
Firstly, the Hijab doesn’t hide your beauty. It only makes you a lot more beautiful.the most beautiful woman is the one who covers herself for the sake of Allah.

9⃣PEOPLE WILL CALL ME A TERRORIST IF I WEAR THE HIJAB.
Relevant today. Let people call you whatever they want. Remember that you’re doing this for Allah, not for people. So don’t make the opinions of people matter. Only the opinion of Allah does.

May Allah make us to be among those who follow his commandments strictly, in sha Allah .

What dua should a parent say for a child who is sick ?

Praise be to Allaah.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) has taught us things in such cases in which there is healing and a lessening of sickness, as well as reward. That is part of Allaah’s mercy towards this blessed ummah and the Prophet’s care for it. He is the one whom Allaah described as (interpretation of the meaning):

“Verily, there has come unto you a Messenger (Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)) from amongst yourselves. It grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty. He (Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)) is anxious over you; for the believers (he is) full of pity, kind, and merciful”

[al-Tawbah 9:128]

Among the things that he taught us are the following:

1 – Reciting al-Faatihah

It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) described Soorat al-Faatihah as a ruqyah, and he approved of the Sahaabi who recited it as a ruqyah for the one who had been stung by a scorpion. Al-Bukhaari (2156) and Muslim (2201).

Ibn al-Qayyim said:

There was a time when I fell sick in Makkah, and I could not find a doctor or any medicine, so I treated myself by reciting it. I would take some Zamzam water and recite it over it several times, then drink it. I recovered fully by these means, then I began to do that whenever I felt a lot of pain, and I benefited greatly from it. End quote.

Zaad al-Ma’aad (4/164).

2 – It was narrated from ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) that when any of us fell sick, the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) would wipe him with his right hand then say: “Adhhib il-ba’s, Rabbi l-naas washfi anta al-Shaafi laa shifaa’a illa shifaa’uka shifaa’an laa yughaadir saqaman (Remove the harm, O Lord of mankind and heal him, for You are the Healer and there is no healing except Your healing, with a healing which does not leave any disease behind).”

Narrated by al-Bukhaari (5675)and Muslim (2191).

3 – It was narrated that ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: If one of his family fell sick, the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) would blow over him and recite al-Mu’awwidhaat. When he fell sick with his final illness, I started to blow over him and wipe him with his own hand, because it was more blessed than my hand. Narrated by al-Bukhaari (5735) and Muslim (2192).

4 – It was narrated from ‘Uthmaan ibn Abi’l-‘Aas al-Thaqafi that he complained to the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) about some pain that he had felt in his body since he became Muslim. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to him: “Put your hand on the part of your body that hurts and say: ‘Bismillaah (in the name of Allaah)’ three times, then say seven times: ‘I seek refuge in Allaah and His Power from the evil of what I find and I fear.’” Narrated by Muslim (2202).

5 – It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri (may Allaah be pleased with him) that Jibreel (peace be upon him) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and said: O Muhammad, are you sick? He said: “Yes.” He said: In the name of Allaah I perform ruqyah for you, from everything that is harming you, from the evil of every soul or envious eye may Allaah heal you, in the name of Allaah I perform ruqyah for you. Narrated by Muslim (2186).

6 – It was narrated that Abu’l-Darda’ (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: “Whoever among you suffers some sickness, or his brother suffers some sickness, let him say: ‘Our Lord Allaah Who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name, You will is done in heaven and on earth; as Your mercy is in heaven, bestow it upon the earth. Forgive us our sins. You are the Lord of the good. Send down some Your mercy and healing upon this pain,’ and he will be healed.” Narrated by Abu Dawood (3892); classed as saheeh by al-Haakim in al-Mustadrak (4/243) and as hasan by Ibn Taymiyah in Majmoo’ al-Fataawa (3/139).

7 – It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The one who visits a sick person who is not dying, and says seven times in his presence, ‘I ask Allaah the Almighty, the Lord of the Mighty Throne, to heal you,’ Allaah will heal him from that sickness.” Narrated by Abu Dawood (3106); classed as saheeh by al-Nawawi in al-Adhkaar (p. 180) and by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood.

Whilst reciting these ruqyahs over yourself you should wipe your hand over his face, chest and stomach, as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to do, and you should sit near your child’s head so that you will be breathing over him as you recite the ruqyah. There is nothing wrong with blowing lightly onto his face with a little saliva whilst doing that.

Ibn al-Qayyim said:

The ruqyah comes from the heart and mouth of the one who is reciting ruqyah, so if it is accompanied with some of his saliva and breath, that will have a stronger effect. End quote.

Zaad al-Ma’aad (4/164).

But over and above all that there must be sincerity towards Allaah in the du’aa’, and sincere turning to Him and humility before Him, and one should seek out the times when prayers are answered, for when a person raises his hand to Allaah in du’aa’, He is reluctant that the person should remain empty-handed. Do not be hasty in seeking a response, for Allaah may delay the answer for a reason that is known to Him, so you should be patient and have certain faith. Remember that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Call upon Allaah when you are certain of receiving a response, and remember that Allaah does not answer a du’aa’ that comes from a heedless heart.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi (3479); classed as hasan by al-Shawkaani in Tuhfat al-Shaakireen (68) and by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah (594).

“Five kinds of Du'as (invocations), are accepted

The Prophet (SAW) said:

“Five kinds of Du'as (invocations), are accepted:

“The Du'a of an oppressed when he asks for help, Allah helps him;

The Du'a of the Pilgrim until he returns;

And the Du'a of a Mujahid till he returns;

And the Du'a of a sick person until he recovers;

And the Du'a of his brother for a brother in his absence.”

He then said: “The quickest answering Du'a among these is the Du'a of a brother for his brother in his absence”.

A lovely story with an Islamic theme - it won't leave your eyes dry! I promise. In Shaa Allah..

Every Friday afternoon, after the Jummah prayers, the Imam and his eleven year old son would go out into their town and hand out "PATH TO PARADISE" and other Islamic literature.

This particular and fortunate Friday afternoon, as the time came for the Imam and his son to go to the streets with their booklets, it was very cold outside, as well as pouring rain.

The boy bundled up in his warmest and driest clothes and said, '

OK, dad, I'm ready!'His dad asked, 'Ready for what?' 'Dad, it's time we go out and distribute these Islamic books.

'Dad responds, 'Son, it's very cold outside and it's pouring with rain.'The boy gives his dad a surprised look, asking, 'But Dad, aren't people still going to hell, even though it's raining?

'Dad answers, 'Son, I am not going out in this weather.'Despondently, the boy asks, 'Dad, can I go Please?'

His father hesitated for a moment then said, 'Son, you can go. Here are the booklets. Be careful okay son.''

Thanks, Dad!'And with that, he was off and out into the rain.

This eleven year old boy walked the streets of the town going door to door and handing everybody he met in the street a pamphlet or a booklet.

After two hours of walking in the rain, he was soaking, bone-chilled wet and down to his VERY LAST BOOKLET.

He stopped on a corner and looked for someone to hand a booklet to, but the streets were now totally deserted.

Then he turned toward the first home he saw and started up the sidewalk to the front door and rang the door bell.

He rang the bell, but nobody answered..He rang it again and again, but still no one answered. He waited but still no answer.

Finally, he turned to leave, but something stopped him. Again, he turned to the door and rang the bell and knocked loudly on the door with his fist. He waited, something holding him there on the front porch!

He rang again and this time the door slowly opened.

Standing in the doorway was a very sad-looking elderly lady.

She softly asked, 'What can I do for you, son?'

With radiant eyes and a smile that lit up her world, this little boy said, 'Ma'am, I'm sorry if I disturbed you, but I just want to tell you that ALLAH REALLY LOVES AND CARES FOR YOU and I came to give you my very last booklet which will tell you all about God, the real purpose of creation, and how to achieve His pleasure.'

With that, he handed her his last booklet and turned to leave. She called to him as he departed. 'Thank you, son! And God Bless You!'

The following week on Friday afternoon after Jumma prayers, the Imam was giving some lectures. As he always did in this westn city, he concluded the lecture, he asked,

'Does anybody have questions or want to say anything?

'Slowly, in the back row among the ladies, an elderly lady's voice was heard over the speaker. 'No one in this gathering knew her.

She started to speak..."I've never been here before. You see, before last Friday I was not a Muslim, and never thought I could ever be.

My husband died few years ago, leaving me totally alone in this world.. Last Friday, being a particularly cold and rainy day, I was contemplating suicide as i had no hope left.So I took a rope and a chair and ascended the stairway into the attic of my home..

I fastened the rope securely to a rafter in the roof then stood on the chair and fastened the other end of the rope around my neck. Standing on that chair, so lonely and broken-hearted I was about to leap off, when suddenly the loud ringing of my doorbell downstairs startled me.

I thought, I'll wait a minute, and whoever it is will go away.I waited and waited, but the ringing doorbell seemed to get louder and more insistent, and then the person ringing also started knocking loudly....I thought to myself again, 'Who on earth could this be? Nobody ever rings my bell or comes to see me.'

I loosened the rope from my neck and started for the front door, all the while the bell rang louder and louder. When I opened the door and looked I could hardly believe my eyes, for there on my front porch was the most radiant and angelic little boy I had ever seen in my life. His SMILE, oh, I could never describe it to you!

The words that came from his mouth caused my heart that had long been dead TO LEAP TO LIFE as he exclaimed with a cherub-like voice, 'Ma'am, I just came to tell you that ALLAH REALLY LOVES AND CARES FOR YOU!

'Then he gave me this booklet, Path To Paradise that I now hold in my hand. As the little angel disappeared back out into the cold and rain, I closed my door and read slowly every word of this book. Then I went up to my attic to get my rope and chair. I wouldn't be needing them any more.

You see?

I am now a Happy Vicegerent of the One True Allah. Since the address of your congregation was stamped on the back of this booklet, I have come here to personally say THANK YOU to Allah's little angel who came just in the nick of time and by so doing, spared my soul from an eternity in hell.
'"There was not a dry eye in the masjid.

The shouts of TAKBIR...ALLAH AKBAR.. rented the air.

Imam-Dad descended from the pulpit to the front row where the little angel was seated....He took his son in his arms and sobbed uncontrollably.

Probably no jama'at has had a more glorious moment, and probably this universe has never seen a father that was more filled with love and honour for his son... Except for One. This very one...

Blessed are your eyes for reading this message.

Don't let this message die, read it again and pass it to others.
