Why do you not wear hijaab?

1. Because its too hot
2. Because it makes me look ugly
3. Because it make me look old and uneducated
4. Because I’m not holy
5. Because no one in my family wears hijaab and I wasn’t raised in that kind of household
6. Because I’m still young
7. Because I won’t find a husband that way
8. Because I have and wear clothes that you can’t wear with hijaab

There is no excuse for not wearing hijaab.

1. Remember that on the day of qiyamah the sun will be an arms length above our heads. Then we’ll know what “hot” really is.
2. Your beauty is not like a flashy car on display for all eyes to see. Instead your beauty is like that of a diamond that is hidden under layers of rock. That beauty is reserved only for your husband and not for any man to please himself admiring your beauty.
3. How many female doctors have you seen that wear hijaab. I’ve seen doctors that dress so simply and conduct themselves in such a simple manner. Education doesn’t go to their head and neither should we let it go to our heads.
4. Its not a matter of being holy, its a matter of being Muslim.
5. Be the change that starts your family members changing too. I too wasn’t raised in a house where my mother wore scarf. When I started, she did too.
6. There is no guarantee that you will live to become old, to live to repent, do it now, later is not guaranteed to you.
7. Allah has already set out a partner for you. You need not go out and find one for yourself.
8. You can always change your dressing. Buy more decent clothes, start off slowly, make small changes until your dressing improves. Start wearing three quarter inners, then move on to full sleeve inners etc.

Don’t let the first day you’re covered properly be the day you’re put in your grave.

Remember that when you dress openly you won’t only attract the wanted attention, you will attract the unwanted attention as well. Attention from old perverted men, men with filthy intentions etc. So remember dear sisters we are precious gems, to be protected and shielded. We aren’t there for the viewing pleasure of random men
